I love side zip boots , at the moment I'm in V12s steel toe but usually i have the cheaper viper multicam off ebay but I can kill them in 6 months . I like the side zips being a wild camper and regularly need to throw boots on quick sharp , long distance I use haix boots but local I like a zipper , great vid i will see if they are uk friendly .
I have always been leary of side zipper boots but I will check them out.I got some Danners not to long ago and tell you what they have been a real pain to break in,but they had no problems breaking the bank. Good vid.
Yeah, I do have a pair of Black Danners, I have worn them ONCE lol I need to break them in, these just seem to break in a whole lot quicker and stay comfortable. I was kind of shocked too as I really just got them because they were part of our "uniform" but now I love them. Thanks!
That's why I love them, I mean I keep mine clean and all, but even if you don't they don't look crummy or fall apart after wearing them for a while! Thanks
I bought a pair of these in black. BAD idea. My feet would boil in black. But I wore them for a year every day. they wore out fast. They were some of the most comfortable boots i ever wore and I love the zip up. but the durability has a lot to be desired. I do tend to be pretty rough on my boots. They are still functional but I keep them in my truck as a backup pair for emergencies. IMO 100 bucks wasted. Suprisingly I bought a plain ass pair of work boots from walmart to try out and they are amazing. But I miss the zip up on them.
Well, I am in Nevada, I have used them in snowy conditions, used them on rough terrain, and used them lots during the summer, they are still holding up great. I treated them with water repellent as well, and they stay dry in the rain. Thanks for watching!
Side zip boots are pretty much amazing.

I've owned a pair of these in the Black color for a few years now and just love them ;-)) There's hardly no sign of wear ;-))
