She may also experience emotions like hate and fear because of how advanced her software program is. Her only thought and purpose is to protect her and only her. Gemma is the real villain. 'She's not my daughter.' Cady could have gone to her grandparents but Gemma demanded to adopt her only so she could use her to develop M3gan. Gemma is the old school mad scientist whose work controls her. She doesn't care who or what she sacrifices to make her dream a success.

We argued once, and it got really bad (she wasn't brave enough to get violent, but I distinctly remember screaming like a horror movie kill up the stairs and for several minutes in my room. Still get random memory bursts of it sometimes). She might even be able to stop the bad things I say/think about myself, and I won't be scared to get close to her.
This movie was great. The only thing i didn't understand was why Gemma's character couldn't produce the working algorithm for her "secret project." M3GAN didn't need to be controlled like BOB, so how did she figure it out? 🤔
M3GAN is one of those villains who like Killmonger and Thanos, you might not root for them but your understand where they're coming from and might even do the same things they've done if you were dealt the same hand that they were dealt, as well as had the abilities that they had.

One thing I wondered, if M3GANs did sell as a mainstream children's product, how would the MEGANs react to each other? If Cady brought hers to meet another child that had her own, what would the MEGANs do? Would they interact with each other? Fight each other? Work together? Something I wish the movie would've gave us a peek at.
