So that's how you do it! This clears up so much. My brother and I were talking about your short video for a while and thought you welded 2 cans together or something. But this is so much easier. I'm impressed and immediately doing this. This is a great idea and hope you come up with more in the future!
@user-cw6rt3ey7h - Thank you for your feedback. I' soo glad you enjoyed it. Best of luck with your build. Send me a photo of it when you complete it. I'm trying to include some of the builds that being done by our viewers.
Brilliant! Love how you can just pop off the mini tins if needed. You could do a lengthwise drawer with the 711L tin. Two side by side if you were willing to live with about 1/4" jutting out on each side.
@knghtbrd - Thanks for taking the time time to post. I like dorky. The video short that I have for this standard video is the most popular video I've ever made. It's even more dorky :-) th-cam.com/users/shortsoXTEAvByBVs?feature=share
I like a simple solution to a overthought problem. I was wondering how the lid would be secure from the elements. Great solution. However how secure is it. I was thinking maybe super gluing the backs of two tins for extra storage
@BlindfiveDC - If you wrapped a wide rubber band or a ranger band around the edge, it would essentially make the tin waterproof or highly water resistant. You super glue idea would probably work to create more space as well.
@Hawkeye_Sirens_and_Elevators - Thank you for your post - It's a different way of dealing with an issue that many people have run into with their Altoids Tins EDC build
@wildmangeorgesrcchannel6916 Thank you! I sincerely appreciate the feedback. There is a lot more of it here: www.youtube.com/@EarthlingEDC if you are interested. Enjoy!
@ThyJoSue - Thank You, I appreciate the feedback. If you enjoy mini EDC kits, be sure to check out this video as well th-cam.com/video/X7QaXF_Rtqg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ktnytq5UBkza2AA6
@frasesirijillas5331 - Neat idea. Since this mod does not damage the tin that the drawers are attached to, you could probably have a whole selection of antique tins to choose from. Many thanks for taking the time to post.
@ssm090 - Basically it is a magic trick. I made this video for viewers after I post this short th-cam.com/users/shortsoXTEAvByBVs?feature=share that has had 344,000 views and many of them asking how I made it work... :-) Thanks for your post.
@zekeabercrombie3583 - Thank you for your post. My idea of using an Altoids tin is that your space is limited to the interior of the tin. It's an exercise in carefully selecting items that you deem would be helpful to you in your daily life. When you go beyond that limitation of the tin, it changes the entire concept of why you are using the tin. But that's just my perspective :-) Thanks for bringing this up
The way you are smiling 😊😌
@saravatana - Thank you for your post. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

@@YoursName-u2l email them to Earthling@newsphoto.com. I look forward to seeing them. Many thanks !
I’m definitely gonna click the link to get the miniature drawers… I can imagine getting robbed and the theives dropping this because it seems useful.
@stalecouchpotayo - Thanks for taking the time to post. I appreciate the feedback.
@ I appreciate you sharing the information. So the appreciation is mutual.
Interesting ... might be fun to add the mini altoids tins on the bottom!
@digging4roots - That would be interesting to see. Thanks for sharing that idea.
Hook and loop lacks commitment, JB Weld! 😀
@ScorpionRegent - Hook and loop DOES lack commitment. ...Might just include that in an upcoming video :-)

I like those 711L tins. Might just mount a couple of them to a Pocket Rack!
Put a hair tie or a ranger band around the outside for an extra bit of gear and extra security.
@alishaparr577 - That would work quite well. Thank you for your post.
That is dorky. I love it.

That's a pretty good idea to add those.

Thanks! Love the idea.
@teenieneenie630 - Glad you liked it and I hope you have a chance to build one out.
That's a brilliant idea. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
It could also be fun to glue or Velcro the bottom of two tins together.
@alishaparr577 - That would be interesting to see.
wholesome content right here. thumbs up friend

Love this idea! Simple and clean.
@Twinsdad6 - Glad you like it! Thanks for posting
For more space, add another tin to the bottom!
@vsheridanwilson5189 - That's definitely another option. A couple of viewers suggested just gluing another tin to the bottom :-)
Very creative!!! Thanks
@suebrand4606 - Thanks for your post. It is sincerely appreciate.
Love it! ❤

It would be great to do it with a Jack Daniels Metal Retro Cigarette Case.

I’m outing drawers in the drawers
@Mankeysbankeys - Thanks for posting. I appreciate the feedback. This is a fun little project to do and very simple to make. Enjoy!
I dont think jb weld or glue is any better than velcro. Rivets maybe.
@mikebrittain6191 - Velcro works just fine :-)
wonderfull
That was a fun video to make. Thanks for the feedback..
You're GOD!!!!
@samo92mx - Thanks for watching the video and for taking the time to post. I sincerely appreciate your feedback.
Just Velcro two tins together
@yungvalid1284 - Thank you for taking the time to post your suggestion. What you propose would definitely work. :-)
Drives me nuts how you’re holding it like it’s a magic trick or something lol

Why not just get a bigger box?
