I know you are a busy guy so I want to express I sincerely appreciate your time. I'm getting ready to purchase safari windows for my 64 bus and would appreciate your oppinion on the Wolfsgang International versus the Creative Engineering. Thank you again for your time. Happy Thanksgiving. Regards, Gary

My bus has Wolfgang. Given the choice I like CE safaris better, but the addition cost, and thin windows may lean me back towards Wolfgang.

Thanks. You are the second person that says Wolfgang. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and go that route. Hey, it's only money. I do sincerely appreciate your time.

To be clear, CE are a better set, and the ones I use on builds.
Wolfgang are more common, cheaper, and durable. The profile looks nothing like stock.

Thanks for the tutorial. But a few questions:
-is there any advantage to installing them the way the factory did with a sliding screw plate inside the window frame of the bus? I understand it’s more work but the factory did it that way for a reason right?
It would be good to see how easy or better yet how hard it is to install the window to Safari frame rubber and glass. I understand there can be issues with that also.
Looking forward to your other Content.

The factory screw plate would be a mother of pearl to get in that channel. Most new kits use sheet metal screws.
As far as glazing the frames, it’s pretty easy. When I put these together I’ll make a separate video for that. 👍🏽

@@the_Wagen Understand. Yeah, the plate might be difficult, and oh the curse words that would fly if it slipped down into the void on accident. Haha. I know Charlie Hamill did a HVW's write-up years ago(don't remember the year/month). I seem to remember him cutting a slot in the body/frame to slide the screw plate in once the holes were drilled in the bus and then somehow putting a screw into the plate to hold it while the window was offered up. Now, where did I put my 3rd arm? Tricky to say the least.
Tell your bro to interview Charlie. I mentioned it to him at the Classic, but I have no connection to Mr. Hamill so I'm no help there. That guy has stories...he's not one to make small talk or chat though. LOL.

I don’t work on Volvo’s but I bet if it has a flat windshield someone has done it.
