That's actually unrelated to the corruption. I assume minimal assets are loaded for the title demo and thus the Miss! theme gets replaced by the Special Select theme. Same goes for if the game places blocks containing items where they have an unassigned default of containing either a key, Yoshi wings or a P-Balloon which renders as that weird hook thing. Another seems to be the bonus room that the game sends you to if the stage you enter is invalid, that or the "TEST" level with the death pit at the end.
@@naturegirl1999 You could easily do that with the RTC, SNES has the APURAM which handles audio and you can solely corrupt that. Just beware that going overboard just causes the entire audio to quit. Rewinding can help but a corruption might bug out a certain sound that causes the audio to stop, usually with a weird keening noise.
3:23 What a nice extended intro.

5:43 One of the many staples of Super Mario World Corruption is when the steel drum sample gets corrupted and you get that snazzy chiptune sound.
5:54 I'm Batman.

5:54 bowser nukes the mushroom kingdom the only thing that remains is the ashes of the fallen heroes.
You can hear so often in SMW Corruptions when Mario dies the special world music for no reason... really strange
Its normal for the title screen

Some of the music the corruption makes actually sounds pretty cool.
I agree. I wonder what it would be like playing a Mario game where it’s just the music that’s corrupted, potentially resulting in some amazing songs
