You can butcher your kills on the butchers table in your barn at the farm. You can fill the buckets at your well on the farm too. Hope this helps. You can also collect a fishing rod on the end of your little pier at the pond on your farm as well.
Oh yes thats right, I found this out in todays episode about the butchers table, and it also gives you more meat than when you do it yourself too. I think I saw the fishing rod, Iam not sure.

Your animal pen needs to have a double gate. You’ll need to to delete the small gate and and 1 fence to fit it in. You can feed your dog steak
