I've already told Travis but I'm so glad that you guys are showing your Dad more and showing us that he is an integral part of the farming. If for nothing else, I bet he's got the most money! LOL!
My cousin has an Polaris 800 ranger and he has pulled an aluminum trailer with a mower on it three miles, handles it great and still is smooth, and is very reliable for him.
the farm i come from is mud and muck and we have had a polaris and the belt gave in the first week and has been sitting in the shed for months we then went with kubota and she is amazing !!!!!
For just checking cattle or crops I recommend the ranger 570, once you put a bull bar on the front you will never dent it, the plastic is fairly strong.
i have a polaris 800 xp like this one for 5 years now. working it hard never had a issue with it. when towing and going slow you need to have it in low, or you will chew up belts.
I have had my Polaris since 2004. We have been pleased with it. Use it almost every day. New battery , twice, and regular fluid changes along with filters and it is still in good condition. The Mule is not as good as the Polairs.
Ah, the danger Ranger. My dad owns a Polaris Ace for getting around the home property, which is mainly a retired farm and woods. Being that one of the company's facilities is in a nearby town (Osceola), Polaris is pretty popular around that neck of the woods, but it's far from universal. I've driven several Polaris models as well as Can-Am, but I'm not on the market for any of them at the moment because I have nowhere to use one on a regular basis.
I recommend Polaris, Honda, or JD. All are excellent and I we prefer them over Kawasaki. And if you can spare the money take a look at the 4 seater gator.
I don't recommend the Polaris ranger they are belt driving and if you work them hard the belt will not last long. I've done been there with them I just sold mine 2 weeks ago.
Hey Ryan I would advise you not to buy a ranger. Now we're in Australia so I don't know Mitch about we're you are. The are very unreliable. We have had issues from day one I'm a agriculture contractor and beef farming the best side by side that I have come across is a kubota there strong as hell im only saying this because we brought ours brand new. With in two years we have rebuilt almost the whole bike and still does not go right. Do your research mate before buying one.
@@nathankaiser5592 3 transmissions in one winter, given a new unit broken trans in 2 months only easy farm chores. You gave your comment a thumbs up lol, good luck w/ your mule
@@intothewild2345 We have 3 mules the first one we got about 20 years ago never had any problems beside normal wear parts. also in my family there are about ten more again with no problems but we have a neighbor with a ranger and he has to get a new one every 2 years so it will still run
Nathan Kaiser must be flat landers mules don’t make it around here ask around, Kubota sxs. Honda quads round here. Glad to hear a positive testimony on behalf of mule someone has had some good luck
glenn s the Kubotas are awful. Good engine and that's it. They're slow, terrible suspension and ride, tiny tires and overly heavy so they get stuck easy, they have hydrostatic transmissions which rob power and will throw you through the windshield if you let off the throttle because they don't coast like a normal vehicle, the seats might as well be made of 2x4's and you can stall them out when trying to pull stuff.
Worked at Kubota dealership diesel rtvs are painfully slow Maybe 35 k an hour Had transmission issues on some units usually w customers taking short trips Motors are very reliable
Daniel Thomason What? The Kubotas are the bottom barrel of the UTV world now, and on par with the mule the already have. They're slow and gutless, the hydrostatic transmission is awful, they're overly heavy and have tiny tires which really limits them off road (same problem with the mules), they ride terrible. There is a reason no other UTV has a hydro transmission. They only have a reliable engine, the rest is crap.
Polaris side by sides are junk by a Yamaha I have had so many problems with polaris atv if you buy one make sure you buy extended warrenty because you will be using that warrenty.
We have 2 Polaris side by sides I don't really like them and I would never buy one the one is brand new Christmas and it's already at the shop because it ended up with gas in the oil
I've already told Travis but I'm so glad that you guys are showing your Dad more and showing us that he is an integral part of the farming. If for nothing else, I bet he's got the most money! LOL!
test drive a pioneer. I just got a 1000-5 smooth. quit. built good. love it around our farm.
My cousin has an Polaris 800 ranger and he has pulled an aluminum trailer with a mower on it three miles, handles it great and still is smooth, and is very reliable for him.
Philip Logemann What year was it I am looking at the 2012 Polaris ranger for my farm
Glad you finally found a good brand
the farm i come from is mud and muck and we have had a polaris and the belt gave in the first week and has been sitting in the shed for months we then went with kubota and she is amazing !!!!!
Dad was having fun in the one at the lot
For just checking cattle or crops I recommend the ranger 570, once you put a bull bar on the front you will never dent it, the plastic is fairly strong.
Poor Rocket! He had to run along side. He wasn't even give an chance to ride. He is part of your group - deserves better.
We've had fairly good luck with the Rangers, we use low range mostly & haven't had any belt issues over last year & half
awesome I would recommend getting the ranger 900 with doors and front and back winshield
i have a polaris 800 xp like this one for 5 years now. working it hard never had a issue with it. when towing and going slow you need to have it in low, or you will chew up belts.
We have the same Polaris we have had it for 8 years there has never been any problems with it.
Several neighbors have the Kubota rigs, little trucks, diesel, dump beds. and heated/AC cabs.
I have had my Polaris since 2004. We have been pleased with it. Use it almost every day. New battery , twice, and regular fluid changes along with filters and it is still in good condition. The Mule is not as good as the Polairs.
For the work you needs side by side for our gator is used for the same chores and it's great
Your Dad must be proud of you boys/men. He did a fine job raising you. Dawgs are having more fun than u guys. Cheers.
Ish Mael well said
If your mule is a gas ⛽️ doesn't last long we have a kubota diesel gator and we have had it for 20 years and still runs good

Have had Polaris atv's and utv, not satisfied. Gator 855 is what I have now, not looking back! Keep up with the great vids.
there's at least one OSHA violation in this vid:) for a minute I thought it was your dad on the back
That polaris is a beast
funny how we saw this on travisis channel nearly a month ago and only here now
Stephen Mc Colgan what is Travis's channel name?
the rest of the story
+Stephen Mc Colgan I stock up videos so I don't have to make videos all night during planting.
fair enough is planting finished yet saw u ere at it on travis channel
+Stephen Mc Colgan Hardly even started
Hopefully they have fixed there axle issues.
3 boys riding in the new rental "toy"
I don't know if you have them in America but try jcb or kubota for a gator or rtv
I recommend Polaris, Honda, or JD. All are excellent and I we prefer them over Kawasaki. And if you can spare the money take a look at the 4 seater gator.
You should make some videos about herding animals on the quads or buggies
I recon you guy should look at the bigger jd one which is the 855
Quality tie down work there
I bet everyone thought that trailor was overkill😂
We have two Rangers on our farm. I am happy with them. Yeah a lot of plastic but they are tanks.
Ryan, I like your Dad's Air Force Academy shirt. Did he attend the Academy? I am a retired veteran of 20 years in the Air Force.
I just bought a new holland T4.100 this past Friday
Are you going to keep it, or sell it, before long
Try the new 2018 Polaris 1000 We have a 2014 900 and it has a lot of get up and get out
have you guys ever looked at the tool cat from bobcat
Just got a new 2017 ranger 900xp over at Midwest in keiler.. its awesome like a small truck
Windshields are great in the rain.... but once it gets dusty the windshield will let the dust roll around and swirl around in the cabin
Awww Travis he's so funny hahaha
Nice channel. Good info.
is the top speed over 30 ?
But yes they do give off a LOT OF HEAT
Do you get mad at Travis for showing you content weeks earlier
Check out the new Polaris 900 or 1000 ranch edition. Not saying there the best for farm use but I highly suggest you look into them.
Is that a 2 cylinder engine
will you do some more videos on it
Wattever
Hydraulic tip is a must, at least for us.
Some times, i wish had more ground clearance and real suspension, but can't beat a diesel 6x4 for a baby dump truck.
You guys should check into a Honda pioneer or a John Deere gator.
how many dogs do you have
where's is the new 🚚????
awesome yes it got good up n Go
Looks for a fun little toy.
polaris ranger,awesome machine
Uses the biggest trailer possible for a small load
Uses the smallest size trailer available.
I love polaris
The kubota diesel side by side is not incredibly fast but for farm work is a power house. Great for shuttling equipment around.
John Morgan agreed
John Morgan the only thing I don't like about them they are orange
Good job
look at a Yamaha viking. there pretty good farm side by sides
I love his vidoes
I don't recommend the Polaris ranger they are belt driving and if you work them hard the belt will not last long. I've done been there with them I just sold mine 2 weeks ago.
Dogs like it but nothin runs better than a Deere
Travis is so funny
How we really test are atv
ask Andrew, he has one!
An 825i is way more heavy duty than a ranger or even the other gators.
Who taught you how to tie things down? lol
Try a can am side-by-side
are those dogs in the pen
You should show a couple videos of your dogs.
we like our prowler 1000
Buy a Honda Pioneer 1000. They are nice quality machines!
Take it back fast.
the polaris ranger 800 can tow more than the john Deere lol
best thing with plastic no rust...

we have 2 gators and they are both junk. clutch went out on both at 40 hrs. and jd well not warranty them.
Great vid Ryan u should get a gator
We had a Kawasaki mule years ago, biggest piece of junk ever!
How so?

kubota makes a great cab unit
Aww... they wanna ride
good outfit
I have had owned bolth machines and the Polaris is a far superior machine to the gator imo .
finally
how do the Kubotas do the deisel powered ones
glenn s the Kubotas are awful. Good engine and that's it. why didn't you take your fancy dancy new truck?
+Ritter ranch ritter Doesn't have the gooseneck in it yet
How Farms Work oh..
How Farms Work I also have a question about the sweatshirts are they bulky like a hockey style sweatshirt or are they silky
He had said in a previous video that he doesn't have a goose neck hitch in it yet
Alejandro Banda I got the message
or a Kubota deisel they are actually the best workhorse. just not crazy fast
Worked at Kubota dealership diesel rtvs are painfully slow
Maybe 35 k an hour
Had transmission issues on some units usually w customers taking short trips
Motors are very reliable

get a polaris, you wont be disappointed

Check out a cam am defender
Jonah Brown They don't seem to hold up that well from what I've seen
They hold up very well
Northern farmer My neighbor has one and the frame cracked
I'd get a Gator over this Polaris.
That didn't take long
if you make a purchase, go with a John Deere XUV gator, such as a 825i or an 855d. There much better machines.
Nursery Life lot more money but a lot more reliable machine
Your right, there a lot more expensive, but you get what you pay for
yea
opps I meant 825 I.. sorry folks 🙊
*POLARIS*
We have 2 Polaris side by sides I don't really like them and I would never buy one the one is brand new Christmas and it's already at the shop because it ended up with gas in the oil
smoke another drew
Get a John deer gator
Amanda Keck John Deere are a little more pricey
Get a Polaris xp 1000 crew cab
