    Could we come back exactly as we are? Collapse bang collapse bang in the same way every time? If so I will write this again in a million zillion years time roughly.

    This is the most plausible model in my opinion.

      There is no reason to assume, that the visible universe contains all the materia there is, but(as well..) the BB might have been an explosion like all the explosions we are aware of(not cyclic). This can easily be derived from the fact, that one can never observe the infinity i.e. is the amount of materia finite/infinite, can never been proven.

    The universe starting over repeatedly forever was the first thing I thought of when I heard about the big crunch and wanted to know if anyone else thought of this before lol

      Why is there a big crunch. What causes the universe from the fast expansion, to start a crunch?

    This model is also described in the upanishad (one of the oldest tests in the world).
    I imagine some larger but similar force that is "characteristically" similar to gravity is acting on the outskirts of the universe. And the universe is like a giant rubber band snapping back, or a better mental picture would be a subwoofer speaker moving back and forth really fast. What if the universe is an extremely low frequency moving back and forth at the rate of billions or trillions or…. years? and what if the universe were very small in comparison to what lies outside of it?

    Interesting idea but since I'm not a physicist or cosmologist I'm going to keep my mouth shut and do some more research.

    What about thermodynamics? Is the 2nd law valid in this model?

  • @carloslong839

    The only problem with the cyclic model is it does not obey entropy.
    When a universe rebounds to the initial high density, hot and energetic beginning it shows more entropy or disorder than is observed at the big bang.

      Can you explain how please

    This is the same theory I have been personally working on, but I think that it is made of x branes, and that it all comes together in a central singularity with a black hole and white hole on each "end". It is so awesome to stumble upon this video where these mathematicians are sitting here talking about coming to the same conclusion as I have- and I can barely multiply. Haha. Take that math nerds who claim you can't understand physics without being good at math.
    Sure you need an engine to drive a car- but you don't have to know how to build one to drive it. Math is an engine, theoretical physics is the car and I'm driving just fine.

    this is gonna sound like bullshit but i thought about this a while back. and im a highschool drop out. not so much in detail but in the simple idea of everything expanding and contracting.

    • @RealComp5
      @RealComp5 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean sure, that's pretty basic. This theory is about how dank matter and energy and/or the vacuum of space itself is unstable in a way that would cause it to break down, making the scale of the universe irrelevant and thus starting a new big bang event.

    so from what i can grasp the universe is expanding after the big bang but it will eventually stop then the universe will begin to collapse on itself maybe from all the gravitational forces. Once it has collapsed completely onto itself where everything of the universe is focused at one point causing the big crunch, then insane chemical reactions will go on with everything being in such a close proximity..the reaction will cause a huge explosion or a big bang restarting the universe once again and then eventually us with it..or am i barking up the wrong tree.

    • @bradyoberley352
      @bradyoberley352 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      xxSpike1989xx i think you’re on to something, i too have hypothesized. perhaps the production of elements from fusion in stars will eventually outmatch the expansion and thus the universe will infinitely bounce between full collapse and big bang.

    So in his and pauls book, or maybe in brian greenes book idk, they mention that there could be observations that may support the braneworld scenario, by missing energy after collisions from the large hadron collider, how would that be compatible with the laws of thermodynamics ?

    • @TheSilverwolf97
      @TheSilverwolf97 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +thomas underhill "The entropy created in one cycle is expanded and diluted to near zero density after the dark energy dominated phase, but the entropy density does not increase again in the contraction phase. The simple reason is that the branes themselves do not contract. Only the extra dimensions contract. From a local observer’s point of view, the entropy density undergoes precise cyclic behavior. Yet, the total entropy on the branes grows, in accord with the second law of thermodynamics. It is just that entropy is being exponentially diluted from one cycle to the next, so any given local observer cannot detect the entropy from previous cycles." Kinda got it out from the Book itself.

    How about infinite loop. Every possible combination/permutations of possibility will be played out and it would repeat again. Let's for the sake of discussions, think about what are the theories on state of universe, say after 100 or 1000 billions of years?

  • @sonnydey
    @sonnydey 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ok, this model makes sense, and is a much better then the patched quilted big bang model.
    I bet the dark energy is unstable and will decay sometime in the future, but I think not with half-life but fixed amount of doubling of the universe because dark energy as it doubles the universe every 10 billion years copies it's self( dark energy) too! So I think dark energy can copy it's self as it expands the universe a limited amount of times, much like the DNA in our cells.

    It is NOT his theory but that is Vedic statement that our universe is manifested by God in endless cycles of creation, sustenance and dissolution and there was never the first cycle.

    Matriarchal spirituality can begin with a fundamental understanding of the cyclical nature of reality.
    Represented by the snake in many creation myths, the living cycle has a trinity of a beginning (head), a middle and end (tail). As above so below, the sexes were created in the image of God's cyclical nature where Mother is the head and opening to all beginnings and Father holds the tail to all endings (through which the sowing of seeds allow for the next great matriarchal rebirth).The joining of the two (symbolized by the Ouroborus or the marriage ring) is the sacred union needed in assuring the creation and continuation of new life cycles. To speak of the present day God as "Our Father" is simply an admission to our collective positioning within the bigger cycle. As all Mother's have direct experience with the creator quality of birthing, so is the direct experience of rebirthing the divinity within (baptism) belong to that which is matriarchal. (John 3, verse 3-8) .
    In spiritualy matriarchal times, illumination could be seen as wearing the false beard (ancient Egyptian funerary death mask) as the supreme balanced state of self knowing; high cyclical awareness of both our upper matriarchal half and our lower patriarchal half (compared with a mini lower body replica, an "as above so below" tail end beard extension); in full recognition of her civilizational Underworld; her inevitable cyclical destiny.
    To carry the Ankh was perhaps to symbolically carry that upper and lower understanding. As the upper matriarchal womb symbolised the fertile birthing of civilization, below, the now Christian cross is carried to place emphasis on the lower "End Times" Father principle of the great cycle.
    Ganesha, the elephant headed Hindu diety, displays a cyclical head to trunk symbolism and points to the Mother head of his matriarchal elephant society.
    A whole temple was dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, who is the matriarchal "Uterus" personified. th-cam.com/video/J0m0zJSEFK0/w-d-xo.html
    In the name of the Father, the Son and the holy ghosted... ? ... inevitability.

    _First of all thanks for the upload its very informative on theoretical physics. For me, it is really so sad to see somebody talking about the universe/reality with above %1 certainty while we are still only living in here, in this cage. I know there are many facts like " you can calculate something without touching it" but you know, the science's itself saying "you can't believe or calculate anything if you can't see or touch it". So, even if i can touch to anything in my room I may question the reality of it so easily, still. %1 is much more than the possibility of life in the world/s, so please, dont feel "sure" about anything in this reality. Have a good day._
