I think that "Ikako" is actually a wordplay. It means "as what I've said" or "as I said" in our language. They just combined together "Ikaw" at "Ako", forming the word "Ikako" as they play an integral part in the lyrics. He's like saying that "As what I've said, we can do this, you and I," kinda like that. It's smart, I just love how Pablo wrote it so wittingly.

Sejun composed this song during the enhanced community quarantine here in the Philippines and the boys first recorded the song (their own lines) (Group version because Sejun has a solo version) in different locations using their own gadgets. It is a song of hope dedicated to all frontliners and workers of the country and is meant to give out positive energy for those who were struggling because of the pandemic. There have been several versions of the song since it came out in April: - Sejun version - SB19 group version (MV with A'Tin and frontliners) - Version with rap (like this performance on Wish) - Version with rap and bridge (they performed it for the first time with a live band on their Bye2020 performance - for me, this is the best ikako version so far).
The official MV has a built-in subtitles. Also, they're singing "ikaw at ako" not ikako. Ikako is a portmanteau of the former. The guy who looked like your friend is actually a very jolly person,,,we call him ‘sunshine boy’ and he is the mood setter of the group...but during the pandemic he experienced a period of depression and he was very open and vocal about it....maybe the clips u saw him in was during that time...but now he is okay and is back to being our sunshine boy!!!!

Sejun, with the longest hair and most hyped here, is the group's main lyricist. For this song, Sejun wrote the lyrics, composed and made the line distribution among the members. This group writes all their songs and choregraph all their dances. They have a music video for Ikako which was shot individually in their homes.
Sejun- the guy with long hair is actually the composer and song writer of this song. He made this during the early times of pandemic and dedicated it to the frontliners. Ikako is a combination of the words "Ikaw" (means "You") and "Ako" (means "Me"). Sejun composed this song during the enhanced community quarantine here in the Philippines and the boys first recorded the song (their own lines) (Group version because Sejun has a solo version) in different locations using their own gadgets. It is a song of hope dedicated to all frontliners and workers of the country and is meant to give out positive energy for those who were struggling because of the pandemic.
There have been several versions of the song since it came out in April:
- Sejun version
- SB19 group version (MV with A'Tin and frontliners)
- Version with rap (like this performance on Wish)
- Version with rap and bridge (they performed it for the first time with a live band on their Bye2020 performance - for me, this is the best ikako version so far).
