  • This is a very powerful Subhashita that gives the importance of effortless death, Painless death and independence in life.
Repeated chanting of this mantra gives us the transcendental knowledge of life beyond the wheel of existence. This was taught as a part of my Subhashitha Nidhi event
    अनायासेन मरणं विनादैन्येन जीवनं ।
    देहान्ते तव सानिध्यं देही मे पार्वति पते ॥
    "Anayasena Maranam, Vina Dainyena Jeevanam,
Dehaante Tava Saanidhyam, Dehi Me Parvati Patye"
    Translation:
    "Grant me:
    A painless death (Anayasena Maranam)
A life free from hardship and dependence (Vina Dainyena Jeevanam)
Your presence at the end of my life (Dehaante Tava Saanidhyam)
And, ultimately, union with You, O Lord of Parvati (Dehi Me Parvati Patye)"
This shloka is a heartfelt prayer to Lord Shiva, seeking a peaceful life, a graceful death, and union with the Divine.
This shloka highlights the importance of living life without suffering and dying without dependency. May we remain healthy and detached, then merge into Lord Shiva's divine feet through unwavering devotion (Akhand Bhakti Yajnya), guiding our soul's journey beyond."
"Anayasena Maranam" is a sacred Sanskrit prayer seeking Lord Shiva's blessings for:
    ‣ A painless death (Anayasena Maranam)
    ‣ A life without hardship (Vina Dainyena Jeevanam)
    ‣ Unwavering devotion (Tvayi Bhaktim Acancalam)
This heartfelt prayer requests a life filled with devotion, free from suffering, and a peaceful departure from the world, reminding us to cultivate mindfulness and devotion throughout our lives.
