I love the room but I would HATE the lack of privacy sharing with someone who has to go through my room to get out the front door or use the bathroom. What if you were getting dressed? And she must feel like she can't cook late or have a late shower or anything if you're asleep. I think Cambridge have a real cheek to make money from that as a two-room apartment, it's blatantly supposed to be a one-room apartment, with your room being the lounge. They are taking away someone's privacy by shoving a bed in it and calling it a second bedroom. I hope it's a massive saving for you.

My friend does all these things while I’m asleep and it’s not a problem for us (probably because I’ve lived in a room with three other people in boarding school) but you’re right - it can be an issue and I’m sure some people are less comfortable with the room division than others! But the college let’s you choose your room and so you can opt for a single room instead if you don’t like this layout!

Thank you so much! I didn't grow up bilingually but I watched a ton of English TV shows and later on went to a boarding school where I was taught in English and that's how I improved my English!
Hi! We had talked about it before selecting this room and I wanted a more spacious room and didn't mind having someone walk through it whereas she wanted a more private space and so it was easy to decide who'd take which room!
