I see them as pieces of art work are people crazy hanging paintings on their wall no so why do people think we are crazy it’s crazy l wish l had discovered reborn baby dolls 20 years ago with infitilty like you and baby losses and it brings me joy and comfort buying baby clothes and dress them and take photos of them auntie Mandy you are 100 per cent right 😊
I used to think I was crazy for still loving dolls as an adult , until I found You Tube , when I see how many people are subscribed to reborn channels it makes me feel so good , and not crazy because there are so many people who love dolls as much as do ! My family are all very supportive too I am pleased to say .
I think that it is just great that no matter what the reason , we can all just love our babies !

Yes a lot of my frends and familly don't understand my hobby and maybe they think that I'm crazy. But for me is my hobby which make me happy and so I don't mind what the others think abou me . It can definitely be tough in this hobby. I really wish people wouldn’t worry about what makes other people happy if they’re not hurting anyone else. I wish I had the confidence to do videos but I worry about the negative responses a lot.

I am a reborn artist and I do have some dolls that I collected. I also have friends that roll their eyes and think it is a strange hobby. But, these people have never suffered miscarriages and infertility and have no idea what it feels like to want to hold and cuddle a little baby. And as long as it makes us happy, who cares. There are much worse things in the world to be involved in. I just recently started a youtube channel and I do have a friend that thinks it is crazy. But it makes me happy, so I really don't care. Love this video. Thanks for sharing.

I have a video uploading now expanding on Tori's video she did. Seems the reborn community is really getting talked about lately by other communities on TH-cam. Someone threatened to call DHS on me the other day because they said I was wasting formula. 😂 I made a video in response and said good luck with that lady. Love that outfit and your cute baby girl! I've always collected vintage dolls, and that was acceptable because they were antiques but now because i want to collect the reborns , my husband thinks i'm crazy, my kids think i'm getting dementia or something. I've always loved real babies,had three of my own, i always wanted to be a mom. I appreciate you bringing this topic to light and all other doll channels. I don.t know if i will tell any of my other family members, I only told my sister and she seemed acceptable, she also is very maternal.THANK YOU THANKYOU for making me feel sane!!!! Also, so sorry for your infertility problems......

Hi Mandy! Ok maybe nobody else is crazy. But me, I am crazy. I'm all kinds of craziness. I'm the first to let people know. And my kids already knew before I started collecting lol just kinda sayin. Nah my kids adapted real well. Sometimes I can even catch them holding a doll. And I have both, authentic and replica, and my kids appreciate the art work and details that go into the authentic, especially when I come across one that resembles someone from the family. This is really uplifting, Mandy! It's been a while since I cared if anyone thought I was crazy, but I'll tell you something. All else in my life being the same, I am actually thankful these days that I'm a reborn mama, not a real baby one. Had God given me children, I would have loved them with my whole heart. But He didn't, and I'm glad that no children had to go through the last two years with me. I'm thankful that I'm able to work the rigorous schedule I do now without leaving any real babies to be raised by strangers four days out of every seven, from before dawn until after dusk, so that I would only see them first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I'm thankful that I can just love my babies without worrying about the moments I'm not there for. That perspective change has happened gradually, but as Mother's Day is approaching, it feels huge. To any random stranger out there reading this and thinking about making a judgment call, judge away if you must, but remember that your lived experience is only yours, and all of our individual experiences are rather small and narrow. Only by choosing to see each other do we broaden our own channels of thought.
Oh my stars, I feel the same way. As much as I wanted to have human children, I am so thankful now at this point in my life that I don't. I'm far too set in my ways. And my furbabies give me more than enough to drive me crazy and keep me busy! I love you!
