- Hey everyone!! I wanted to come up with a “makeup” routine that would piggy back off of my skincare routine for days when I want a little boost but not a full-on makeup look!! I must say… I LOVE how this turned out & I’m SO happy to be able to have a routine like this!! It’s perfect for travel days & busy days! I hope you all enjoy this look as much as I do!! Yes! I do a lot of traveling and can't always stop by a Sephora/Ulta or have stuff shipped to an address. Drugstore products have been lifesavers for me for when I need an item immediately but don't want to break the bank since I won't be using it all that much. I don't really wear much makeup anymore, but skincare-based makeup (especially tinted products) has really filled the void and are exactly the kind of thing my 30-something skin needs.

This. Is. My. Jam! Allie, thank you for making this! I love the look of barely-there makeup and always want to do that, but I feel like I don't really know how to. This is so helpful! I would love to see a bronzy/summery/sunlit version of this skincare-based makeup!
I’m a mom to an almost 1 year old and this is pretty much my every day routine! I mix the Avene mineral sunscreens, tinted and untinted together. I use the tower 28 tinted sunscreen as a “concealer”. Then I just top it off with clear brow gel, curl my lashes, and a tinted lip balm like the laneige chocolate. Easy, every day look that makes me feel a bit more put together💙
Friendly reminder to everyone that you need 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen for your face, neck, & ears! That’s about 2-3 finger lengths. So if you’re relying on the spf in your makeup, make sure you’re applying enough!😊

& it’s okay to layer it! Put on 1 finger, let it dry. Add another layer, let it dry. Etc.
Girl I have been raving about the atmosphere cream for like three or four years! I am so glad to hear someone else talk about it!!! If Allie glines has it and loves it I'm assuming a lot more people have started using it and seen how amazing it truly is!! Honestly their entire line of clean products are an addiction for me!! What a cute, fresh look 😍 anytime I go on vacation with my little family I just go all out with my makeup 😅and a fun note: I used the Allie Glines classic bag in Lilac (which was perfect for both my skincare and makeup in one bag❤) for my last trip to visit home in HI. I’ve been wanting to try a nice no makeup makeup look but I can’t help but reach for more glam products but I absolutely love this idea of using more skincare based makeup products. I love this sooo much!! Could you please update us on how it lasts through the day as well please. I’m in a different stage of life but this would definitely fit and be better for the days my hands are not working and cannot hold brushes but still want to feel good about how I look. Makeup always lifts my spirit when I’m having hard body days. I know silly, but finding joy in little things helps me when bigger things are not controllable. I use Colorescience Flex spf 50 every day in fair. It comes in 4 adjustable shades. They have spf stick blush and spf lip balm in different shades. Nars Light reflecting skincare foundation has it in the name. It works well with the Colorescience flex.
Love this! For everyone, who would like to skip mascara for a look like this: I love to tint my lashes with a at-home set every couple of weeks in the summer and than just use some vaseline on my lashes to give them a little something. It gets so humid and hot here in the summer, so I never wear it @ this time of year. It would just melt off, so vaseline it is

I love a no-makeup-makeup look! Your tutorial is perfect, and you are beautiful! Thank you! Right now, I use tinted sunscreens for a no-makeup look. My favorites are Tinted elta MD Skincare UV Elements SPF 44 and babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Fluid Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. Then, Jones Road Miracle Balm and a touch of mascara, Benefit Roller Lash. I hadn't thought about a bronzer, and now you've inspired me 😄
I love this video! This is definitely the look I find myself going for now that I’m a mom. My son is 8months old and I have found myself loving the tinted moisturizer from wet n wild or the tinted mineral sunscreen from Neutrogena lately. I do love to add a little pop of color with the honest beauty cream blush because it also gives my skin just a natural glow to it without any shimmer. Love your videos! 🥰

Absolutely love this very different than any videos I have seen but exactly wat I need as a mom this is literally perfect I just had my second daughter and literally never have time to do my makeup anymore but always want too i can’t even tell you the last time I wore makeup so this is soo perfect!!! The makeup by Mario enhancer is way perfect for the no makeup makeup look and in my opinion his tones are so much more flattering …. It’s so gorgeous and gives the skin such a beautiful glow
I love this for a natural and hydrated look. I personally don't rely on makeup products for skincare benefits, but as long as they don't break me out or irritate my skin, then I'm all for it!

I do this all the time if i'm running errands with my husband. I'll get ready in the truck with bb cream, a cream lipstick on lips and cheeks, concealer, eyebrow pencil and a touch of mascara (applied at a complete stop lol, not trying to lose an eye.)

Okay i definitely need to check out Summer Fridays and I don't really have skincare makeup hybrid products besides tinted sunscreen which i love but i definitely think i could make something work with my lightly tinted bronzers and blushes. Oh and you should definitely explore clear mascara, I love it for those "no makeup makeup"/clean girl makeup" looks.

For my favorite go-to daily makeup base I use the ulta MD UV physical tinted sunscreen and no7 lift and illuminate serum concealer. They both blend into the skin well with your fingers. You can build up the coverage. I always set it with a loose powder and a matte setting spray. When it starts to wears off it does so very seamlessly. You should give these products a try.
Of note, the only downside is that the ulta MD only comes in light shades.

It's supposed to have a ton of benefits for the under eyes, in addition to claiming to be "crease proof" and serum-like. I wanna buy it but I'm waiting on more reviews lol it's available only online at Sephora, but in stores at Ulta! Would love to see your review of it 😊 It fits the skincare-based theme of this video

Especially for traveling!!!❤❤❤also i was just thinking about this but i have been doing this whole "natural makeup" for practically all my life 😂 before i had my son i went all out but once he was around 3 and i started working full time, yeah thats when i started doing the whole natural thing and never looked back.....yall dollar tree has some sparkly eyeshadow thats the LA COLORS brand but its simply called loose eyeshadow and they are all glittery/glowy colors but i have been using those as a one and done for 10+years.....(once in a while i will use a glitter glue or any other kind of primer for shimmer shadows) but yes if yall are on a Budget try the LA COLORS loose eyeshadows.....the are very shiny and so affordable!!!

Not so much skincare based, but I love the Chanel eau de teint on light makeup days, feels hydrating and gives a gorgeous glow without looking oily or shimmery

I do my supergoop daily dose Hydro ceramide boost and SPF 40, with the ordinary caffeine solution 5% EGCG, with my NYX bare with me, blur tinted foundation. Then I just do a cream blush, very soft with a lip balm and brown mascara. I do this when I want to wear makeup, but not look like I’m wearing makeup.
I kind of feel like this might also be a good routine for daily makeup for folks 40 and up.. like myself- also, the perricone md no makeup makeup is very skincare infused and I feel may have some products you would have preferred or looked even more natural

I do VERY minimum makeup for everyday! Mascara, blush and tinted lip balm only for my everyday look! The days I don't sleep well the night before I'll use some concealer under my eyes only. I should try a tinted sunscreen but the last one I tried was bad! It highlighted ALL my dry patches! Terrible. I've been looking for the perfect sunscreen but it's SO hard! I prefer mineral bc I have sensitive acne prone skin but they all have a white cast even when they say they don't! Super frustrating! I did buy the Neutrogena tinted SPF like a month ago and never tried it yet lol I will tomorrow tho!

I have neither your fair skin nor your age (late 50s) but I just discovered Neutrogena healthy skin anti-aging perfector SPF 20 over my moisturizer SPF 50 and I love it for the days I don't feel using foundation. I love it especially when I am outside a lot. It's like a boost to my skin. Not covering but healthying if that makes sense; it is supposed to even tone so that may be that. I can just put some again as the day goes on and it makes me feel good and I'm happy because of the SPF. Have you tried this one?

You look stunning. Im laughing to myself bc thats like 85% of how far ill go with make up 😅 normally I'd stop after sunscreen. This look is like interview or client meeting or something. For a formal event id put on some basic eyeshadow and fuller mascara with a more substantial lip. But tbh this is really where I'd like to get comfortable making my new normal.

I was expecting products that were slightly more skincare based … like ole Hendrickson under eye brightening stick or tatcha primer … summer Fridays is ok but there’s more options out there . The Laura mercier skin leveler is a great option and make beauty has a skin care infused skin tint. There’s so many options
Perhaps if someone needs powder , super goop makes a sunscreen powder & tacha has something like that too.
