How does this stay on the wreath? I tried this and the ribbons literally can fall back out?

Beth, I need your expertise! You said you did not attach the ribbon to the frame and it stayed nicely. I am making the paw one I asked about earlier. I am amazed how easy you make this look. I seem to have too many thumbs! Fist section done. Looks good but I am hoping I understood. I am using your transcript and video. Thanks Mary
That’s right, I did not attach it to the frame. Once you open up the loops on the front, they should stay in just fine.

Thank you! I have tried doing it on the star form. The only problem I have with it is that star shape kind of gets lost in all the ribbon.
I thought that might be a problem. The forms are really cute, but I think keeping their shape in the end result is kind of hard.

How do you keep them all in place or from not falling apart if you arent attaching them to anywhere on the wreath frame?
The ribbons are all attached together, so those won’t fall apart. Once you open up the ribbon loops on the front, it keeps them from falling back through. But you can definitely attach them to the frame if you choose to.

Thank you Mary. It’s very easy! The rolls I used were 6 yards each and I needed the 3 rolls. Paw print would look adorable!

How do you keep the ribbon from closing back up after opening them . The ribbon won't stay open on the wreath I made . Any advice is welcome. Tyty

Did you attach each ribbon to the same row of the frame, or did you alternate the rows? I can't tell from the video.

I am confused on how to put the ribbon through the wreath. Do all sections of the ribbon go through the second wire, or do you put the fold through each wire. Hope that makes sense, my ribbon doesn’t want to stay in place and I am wondering if it is the way I am inserting it through the wreath
You would out each fold through different sections. There should be three sections from the inside of wreath form to the outide. I always just zip tie the bunch of ribbon and the back. Then once you open up the loops it should stay in place. But you can attach the bunch ribbons on the back to one of the wires in the back as well.
Can you use pipe cleaner instead of zip ties?
