    Bebe Cool: "Quality can not make me send away my own, for example, if I'm married to my wife now and she is beautiful, just because she has given birth to kids...and she loosens up; doesn't mean she should leave my house".
    I love that Bebe Cool has said that. Not a lot of men talk like that these days. It shows that he truly loves and cares for his wife Zuena. Well done Bebe Cool. I also like that he is patriotic about being Ugandan and doesn't forget where he comes from because fame can sometimes get to people's head and I'm glad it didn't get to him. Represent all the way :)

    really if it's a debate then bebecool has won beekay's point is not clear infact he is beaten down.seriously outside music is paid morethan ours n those are the djz playing it puting us down atleast if we could take a percentage of 60% of our music played n then 40% outside then it would be so supportive in promoting the Ugandan music. In fact bebecool you are so intellectual bigup legend

    let the musicians write what they want to write.artists make art for themselves.artists who are trying to make music “for” their fans or DJs make empty,transparent art.The dope thing about making art for yourself is that you grow...and if you do it well, millions of people will relate to it and embrace it.let's allow artists make art they want.

    Bebe Cool, how can one become a Citizen of Uganda??? How can one become a Ugandan? Bebe you are Ugandan by birth....B.K is Ugandan as well by other means...come on!!! Besides, B.K's argument about quality is straight and ok....rather than being patriotic and sounding big for nothing....Big ups B.K

    I myt b posting ths days gone after the whole battle was on bt it still weighs, bebe had a firm fouundation for his point n I think beekay wasn't the ryt Dj to fyt bc, its a brothers battle stay away, stay away coz u as one were nt attacked bt rather our own ug'n dj, actually its nt an attack bt a reminder stop getting mane minded, true that's to job bt at the end ov it all wen a fellow ug'n artist raises up coz ov u, u earn continuous payment, coz he will feature always in those places wea u play xul from bring u mob fanz,
    Mayb qn we b Wat do u nid, a 1tym flooded income n a 2mrw hunger or a steady n permanent inflow........ For God n my country Uganda.
    Respect bebe n all ug'n artists.

    Access to studios that produce that "quality " music are not that readily accessible to Ugandan artists as they are to Nigerians due to the cost issue .. Nigerian musicians have a way higher earning potential( @large market base back home in Nigeria) and hence are able to reinvest in their production

    musicians pliz, add quality in yr music so dat dejays can play it,,actually dejaays play wat listeners ask from them..bebe, i enjoy the way how u reason out things in a mature way but advise musicians to bring quality or else nigerians will take then up and then u begin blaming DJS...BUT WHY DID BK FEAR THE STUDIO??

    If we consider ourselves as Ugandans, we will support each other as Ugandans but there is this aspect of considering Luganda as the only music in Uganda how do you expect other tribes to support your struggle.......they become Uganda's cheer leaders...evidence is on the project by rinex on talent search ,the judges were clear any other language can't work!!!

    bebe and you guys are leaving one thing out, the public your talking about is the same public that makes requests for these songs, so BK is ryt, its the audience that is failing artists mostly because of their irrational behaviour, example, bebe himself these days acts like oba what...even if he got out a good song, one is already biased, its alot of factors so give the DJ's a break and styl up as artists ....

    Ugandan djs luck experience and are over excited by Jamaican music.....

  • @theisisreincarnate
    @theisisreincarnate 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    bebe cool is right , jamaican music is trending in jamaica , american music is trending in america , indian music is trending in bollywood , bebecool is asking for balance , i donot understand why ugandan radios play the same music trending on the the US billboard count down last time i checked , the only music from uganda that qualified for a grammy nomination doesnt even get air play on ugandan tv or radio and wouldnt even be considered, given the freakin dj's are talking about quality , i dare every ugandan Dj to play the abayudayya.... thats the only ugandan music that has made it close to a grammy nomination... so all this quality Nonsense, why cannt uganda be a game changer in quality ? BEBE FOR PRESIDENT !!! be has a great point , this globolization crap watering down everything , Bebe is fighting for us to apreciatitte ugandan artist more invest in them and help them grow, why do u pay 100,000k to watch cris brown but 20k to watch chameleone or luswaata ? Bebe is right ..

  • @shaltoloki6226
    @shaltoloki6226 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ummmm ok bebe cool me being a ugandan living abroad I can relate to what you saying but I have a few clarities. 1) you say play ugandan music yet at the start of the show you were mimicking Patoi which originates from Jamaica I might add. Ugandan artists adopted different styles.. like the American accents and jamaican patoi. just like you. So what that statement means is artists in uganda have lost their identity my friend. (You dont see psquare or wiz kid or davido doing music in patoi. Its in naija style) thats why i like your music you keep it in a ugandan style and it sells.
    And as for the second clarity. The djs are trying to do the same thing you are doing with the videos. You shoot them elsewhere cuz the quality in uganda is garbage and that in turn promotes better quality in uganda, so let them play what is good quality until we up our quality.
    As for the dj this is my only issue. if you keep playing "better" quality songs from elsewhere when will you get get a chance to look at the artists in uganda. Only way to know they have quality is if you listen to it, play it and watch the crowds reaction. Otherwise all you're doing is uplifting people who are not your own. Like bebe said they get 50 to 100,000 fans in concerts so why add to that while draining the east african fans.
    POINT IS ONLY WAY WE CAN GET THROUGH IS IF WE HELP EACH OTHER. AND FOR STARTERS THIS ARGUING HAS TO END.

      @theaviationist.5719 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shalto is right.. Bebe cool got left behind during the early 2000's by Dr Jose, why? Because Jose embraced the Ugandan African style, Mama Mia, Beyi Kali, Mama Rhoda, Mama wange, Jamila, Shida, Mama wabaana, Basiima ogenze etc.. Mr patriot (Bebe cool) was busy copying Jamaican style, check most of Bebe cools songs during that time (Early 2000's), even Bobi wine came and went past him. Bebe got noticed after he changed his style with Bamugambe Album when Zuena left him, he started making real Ugandan music. I can't stand Jose anymore but his music is what got Uganda on the map.. His songs are classics.

      He is not ugandan. Is he trying to tell us dat quality is only not in uganda?

  • @djobama16
    @djobama16 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    But the DJs r right, they r there to entertain their crowds...... if a DJ plays some uganda tracks for a time and recognises that the audiance turn him the back whenever he plays then he has to change the direction.. he has to play the music that the audiance prefers.....and today almost everybody stands in for quality, and ugandan quality is really pretty low....
