Joe, love the videos. I'm new to DE shaving, only a month or so, but am dedicated to it. No more painful ingrown hairs from the cartridge razors, and that makes me happy. I'm 58 years old so I came to it late, but at least I'm here now. I'm learning a lot by watching your videos so keep it up.

I started with AOS products and still like them today. The Ocean Kelp and Sandalwood are my favorites. I get gift cards as presents from time to time. Luckily there's s store in my local mall. The sales rep you filmed seemed to have decent knowledge.

He sure does.......His travel razor is a Gillette Techmatic---He has a Futur and Fatboy, but uses a bic safety razor--with bic d/e safety blades---his favorite shave cream is Trueffitt and Hill Grafton

I've heard Europeans pronounce L'occitane, "lox-ee-tahn" but I don't know the official pronunciation. Yes, true how anything can become Mall-ized, whether it's pizza or shaving cream. Mall are more like airport terminals these days, without the anxiety of travel and a little of the excitement.
I notice you use and collect a wide range of vintage razors. What's your thoughts on the modern DE razors? If you had to pick one which one would recommend
Joe: It must be nice to have a Red Tip as a birth razor. Mine is a Black Tip, or, alternatively, a bakelite handle Gillette Tech, both of which send best birthday wishes to your Red Tip, and to you. (As well as a happy anniversary wish.)
