A few things I wanted to point out: 1. The condition of these shows is not always completely in the hands of the tech. They may be under certain restrictions and can't do everything they'd like to to a stage or do not have the resources to do so, so please do not take this video as bashing the people who work on these stages, as they're doing the best they can and I applaud their work. 2. Warrington actually is currently operating, so that's my bad for not doing enough research into that. It would probably be in the top 4 somewhere, either #4 or #3 most likely. 3. I'll be making an update to this video in the future once things have changed with some of these stages. Stages such as BBWL's may be getting better in condition, and I forgot to include Warrington so it'll be on the list next time as well.
Great video! I went to the warehouse about 2 years ago shortly before Aaron sold the building and had to start moving everything out of it. I took a few short clips of the show performing if you want me to send those your way to be able to assess their condition closer to moving out. I hope he's able to get that show up and running again but getting the space, resources and specifications for that show is no easy task so I wouldn't be surprised if we never see them in action again or if they get sold off to a collector.
@@nickcolman3599 Aaron recorded footage of the last tour before moving out, which is where I assessed their condition. I also doubt he'd ever sell them since he wants to keep a show (maybe two) to himself.
Aaron being involved with Billy Bob's Wonderland is both good and bad in my eyes. Good, because more love will go into the show. Bad, because I've never heard of Aaron and a place that owns the Rock-afire having a lasting relationship. Fingers crossed.
Well that place has the copyrights to the characters so that’s why bbwl was able to run the characters as themselves for years with Aaron being upset with bbwl
I love your content! I'm surprised no collector has a private or public collection of a 3-Stage verion of the all Chuck E. Cheese and Munch's Make Believe Band characters yet.
I think it’s probably because a lot of people prefer having the RAE over MMBB when it comes to those 3 stage animatronics, though I do know at least one person who has a MMBB CU animatronic.
crossing my fingers for another bbwl restoration! i went there a few weeks ago and they were... fine, but seeing them compared to jack turner's show is like night and day. i had no idea aaron was on board now!
Unfortunately I heard they’re not even going to be receiving new, official masks (apparently due to the cost of like a grand per mask) and they have one tech working on it currently who isn’t Braylon, so I don’t expect a bright future for the stage. On the bright side, Volo will be opening in June and is looking great.
Mitzi will be getting a new mask in november of this year at dreamfactory! And xan is actively working on reprogramming each show :) so there’s definitely a lot of love and effort being put into the show
Here's how I would rank them : 8. Wolmi Theme Park (Same reasons) 7. Billy Bob's Wonderland (Same reasons) 6. Smitty's Super Service Station. Tho the show works well mechanically, masks like Fatz's or Billy Bob's just look ugly, also I don't like how glossy Beach Bear's mask looks, it makes him too different from the others and it just looks strange. 5. Damon's Show. It seems perfect mechanically, and the masks look ok, tho the Earl replica does look quite bad, but the Santa makes this show good. 4. Gulliver's Kingdom. The only problem I have with this show is that if the Hard Luck Bears are supposed to be country bears, then it wouldn't make any sense to have a surfer bear. 3. Jack's Show. Something with this show just feels wrong for some reason, the guy tried to make it look like a RAE from 1980-1982 but it just ended up looking strange, the wide beak Looney Bird is cool but for example, if you notice, every character in the RAE has a different fur color and texture, and if you now give Beach Bear Rolfe fur, then that speciality break, also I don't really like how the owner is lowkey acting like if it was the best RAE show ever. 2. Dreamfactory. The show looks perfect both mechanically and cosmetically, and I just love Uncle Klunk, the only problem is that they miss a Looney Bird. 1. Creative Engineering. What can I say? Just a perfect RAE show, no ugly masks, no missing movement, nothing, just perfection.
Fun fact I went to gullivers kingdom a few weeks ago and got a bit of footage of them also I have a history video suggestion but you stopped doing history requests a while ago
I'm not taking anymore history video requests right now, but let me know in the future once I start taking them again (I'll make an announcement when I do) so I can add it to the list.
That's not a bad argument, and I still think his show is great. It's just that on the highest scale, the look of everything matters to me the most, and this also includes custom changes that someone may choose to make like the top two decided to do.
My personal opinion would be: 8: Chris Thrash’s Show (fell off hard) 7: BBWL. Considering what they have at the moment and what they have to scrounge up these days, I’d say their work is pretty nice. Today however they took a bit of a nosedive in quality since Braylon left and they had to keep adding latex to the masks they were wearing since then, hence why they look off (even if Braylon came back.) However if you go back to some old footage in maybe ~2021-2022 somewhere in the summer, there is a golden spot where the masks are best they can be and they are in the best shape. 6: Aaron’s Show. I have nitpicks with the show since if you go back to Cyberstar footage or just 80’s footage you can see how good it was. As of now I really don’t like the show. The masks lost a lot of detail and Aaron’s show is probably the worst proof of that. Another thing is the fact that even after noticing how strange they look with the lack of detail in their masks, Aaron just left them as is. Personally I just hate Aaron’s masks like his 2015 Dook mask and his Billy Bobs mask which I literally despise. The Billy Bob mask literally won’t melt and it got bad over time. He also lowered his show PSI to 65 which irritates me. (Also Rolfes arm had pressure issues but he just increased the pressure until it worked. Earl literally doesn’t function properly anymore.) 5: Damon’s Show. Personally I really like his Earl replica since it’s a more realistic version of an actual puppet (even if Earl is canonically made of wood) and he’s pretty cute now. His masks, while they are bootleg, are as good as they’re gonna get since he’s running his show off I assume the Blue Box. Aaron doesn’t like shows that don’t run off the Grey Box so either Damon can’t get masks from Aaron or he just doesn’t want to purchase one from him, so then he makes masks out of the show he bought I assume. 4: Smitty’s. I mean, yeah. You said basically everything. His masks aren’t original though and are made off of the official ones which is, shocking. 3: Hardluck Bears. Aside from the fact they’re a soft reboot of the RAE I think they’re nice. They work fine and the minor changes are unique. I don’t like their Beach Bear and Billy Bob masks. 2: Jack’s Show. It’s just a RAE. Like, probably the closest we’re getting to a 80’s RAE but I have minor critiques with the masks. Aside from that it’s just a RAE. 1: Dreamfactory. Not the perfect RAE but hey, it’s nice. The more realistic backdrops and small details really bring the show together. Their movement speeds are just near perfect to me. Sure, Mitzi has an ancient mask that melted and got the BBWL treatment and Dook & Beach Bear’s masks are made from brand new actual masks that didn’t come from Aaron and also got the BBWL treatment (but better) I think the show is really nice, even if Uncle Klunks backdrop is bland.
