Gotta say he lost me somewhere in his explanation. I have written some decimal to binary float converters myself (other way around I found fmt dragon box sufficient. This was for some proprietary human readable encoding) but I never got the efficiency I wanted. Maybe I can revert this algorithm, if only I understood it😂
