Following a successful bid to the Nursing Technology Fund the Trust is beginning a plan of replacing the existing wards drug cupboards with Omnicell electronic drug cabinets. This video shows the units in use at some of these site

some patients have more than 10 meds at specific time. if I have 5-7 assigned patients for that specific time, i need to come back to the omnicel after each patient to collect their meds and it's really time consuming..this system don't have an option or setting to dispense all current meds in a single drawer for specific patient....i missed the old medication trolley...

Pyxis is way better. Omnicell is so outdated

We're switching from pyxis to omnicell...this looks like patient satisfaction will get worse.
