We just moved to a farm and we’re clearing the land as previous tenants didn’t take care of the land properly and there is an infestation on almost every fruit tree, plant and under every tree, so much to the point that you even see them in the grass and paddocks when walking around. We’ve spent almost a whole week spraying any “families” we see and it seems there will be no end and we really don’t want to plant anything if they’re going to ruin it, we test planted some beans and tomatoes and as soon as the plants grew out of the ground they absolutely ruined the whole line of plants so now we are on a mission to get rid of them all before we plant anything else.
Out on the farm your fruit trees and vegie garden is a beacon of moisture and food to the harlequin bugs. Some drier years will be worse than others. All you can do is reduce their favourite weed food called Marshmallow weed and try and knock them off during late winter and early spring to reduce the numbers significantly. Good luck!
This does work however I would caution that it might not hurt your plant but it entirely killed all the leaves of my horseradish. Roots kept it alive but if it does that to my kale and broccoli its a bigger problem than the bugs. These look different than the ones here.
After 3 years of battling with these, this is looking very promising after a few days, thank you

I add more water to the detergent and also vinegar .. works really well
I do like the vinegar idea.
Can you use any laundry detergent for the formula, or it must be something specific?
I liked your video the only thing volume of the video was low at times but great to have local videos.
Great video! Thank you. I have a heap too, pains in the bum! I'll give this a go.
Also, can I use dishwashing liquid as well?
Thank you these bugs are the bane of summer gardening. Do you have anything for these golden night beetles they are a nuisance since last summer.
How would go if there in my car I have started to notice a few in the boot of my car
Thank you 👍🏻🌱
Do you sell the little solo sprayer?
Yes. gardenfeast.com.au/product/sprayer-solo-1lt/

Does this kill the bugs?
Yes it does
@@mareeplanner1166 nice thanks!
Can't wait to exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!
Lol them running away while still interlocked.
That was effective
Thank 🙇
