- A quick trip up to CP 22 on the CSX River Subdivision brought a surprise mid way in the train. A large Pipe strapped on a flatbed heading to North Bergen Yard that day. CP 22 has one of the very last search light signals on the line, so if you ever go down there, get a shot of them! Also another day's Q403 had a derailed Hopper car on a flatbed, with the trucks removed and on the side, along with CSX SD40-2 #8181 trailing behind.
Great video Luke! It was a fun little outing we had at CP-22! High and wide loads was cool! Always love those Conrail signals. Great video!
Thanks Joey! 😁 Yep it was pretty neat seeing those signals and wide load!
CP106 has Dwarf signals if y’all interested
Oh that’s awesome! CP 22 has one too across from the signals!
The first train made me happy. A mixed freight consist never fails to make me smile.
Yep, manifests are always cool because you never know what they will have next!
Nice catches! Awesome!
Thanks! Much appreciated!
There Q403 comes, running the Corner! The eco from the horn is great too!
That spot is very scenic! Thank you Jeff!
Great video train
Greetings from Indonesia
Thank you!
I didn't know those were conrail signals. Great video.
Thanks CSX Maniac! Yep, there pretty old, and some of the last! Auto 21 has those too.
Nice to see Conrail history on the line!
Yep 👍
Wow!! The giant pipe was cool, unexpected!! And a long train 🚂 fun video ♥️
Thank you so much!
So interesting. Giant pipe.
Thank you Tony! Yes it was!
I wonder where that pipe is going... Great video CSX45!
I did too, I have no clue, Q403 goes pretty far south! Thanks NS777 NS777!
I believe this by Englewood Healthcare by Harrington Park Nj where I see my Doctor for Check ups and that's where I find any catches on CSX
Sorry if I sound like a foamer but what was the reporting mark of the Derailed Gondola. We get a ton of these hauling debris for Metal Management MLMX. Looks like one of those. Awesome video and keep up the great work
No problem Hartfordline Railfan! It does say its a MLMX car on the front and the side, but I couldn't make out much more then that. Thank you, and stay safe!
💯! How many trains a day on the line about?
Thanks KCS Buff! I would say in range from 25-30 trains daily.
How many times is your optical zoom? Great action!
Thanks NY Railfan! It has 57x!
What's sup with DPUs on CSX River Subdivision seems like a strange Bahavior on CSX
Seems to me nowadays these trains have become longer, n longer, MUCH LONGER, not mention dpus, included, here in Nebr/ Wy,/ & COLO, both BNSF & UP, (some of these coal trains) are jus over 2 miles long, with 2 lead locos, 4 dpus, in the center of train and 1 dpu on the tail end, I might add, these coal trains are both loaded, and empty, goodgrief, AND waitn for one these to go thru a crossing is jus terrible, and if your at crossing with double lines, ITS MUCH WORSE, and usually theirs an another train comn from the other direction, and it does happen jus before the 1st train finnaly clears the crossing, oh I jus hate that and then the 2nd one is going to damn SLOWWWWW!!!!!😭😭😭😵😱🤯. THANKS for sharing this with me 😉👍 more please love these freighters👍✌️
Thank you man! Yep very true! Freights are great.
