Helpful video though i wished it would have continued in the demo of the catalog item build through the fulfillment and other options instead of stopping at the Preview Item part.
Can we still proceed with the old way to edit the catalog item and not use the catalog builder? came across an issue where the catalog builder prevents me to edit the short description/description fields the usual way(orlando and previous versions) when the item on builder is on draft state. Thanks!
@@SAASWithServiceNow Specically where ***should*** business users create these items and how should that be handled. If in dev, do you educate on update sets and/or scopes. If in prod, do you just not worry about new work on the items from dev?
I think this depends how we want to govern it. Best practice will always be educating about update sets capture and following release environments however we can also let them create in prod directly as selection of catalogs can be controlled by templates. If business has their team specific catalog which will not be visible to global users then I think they can create in their own space keeping change control in their mind.

Hi Gaurav bro, I have tried to build catalog items by using catalog builder in scoped application. Catalog item template is not available or hidden for catalog_ builder_editor role It's happening only in scoped application Please help me in getting this resolved
OOTB Catalog Builder publishes items when users build one in the catalog builder. Sadly this video is not helpful at all to show how to setup a flow to enable the approval steps prior to it being published.
