Focus: Rooted, relevant, original, pathbreaking and hyper innovative, from the mainstream blockbusters to quirky and experimental low to no budgeters, some of the most exciting films and screenwriting across genres are coming from Southern cinema. Is it that their audience are more receptive? The producers are more risk taking? What is their approach to story and screenplay as compared to the Hindi film industry?

yeah, but our star director does a "the villian" and they do a "vada chennai" they are far more better than us, we have to accept it. Hope our industry gets there someday and our stars support good cinema. I definitely want to see a kannada screen director in this panel.

Especially Kamal did so many classics in South , he created an hybrid cinema which incorporated parallel cinema aesthetics to mainstream Cinema

हिन्दी सीखने मे कोई ज्यादा परेशानी तो नही है। जबकि इस क्षेत्र मे हिन्दी बहुत ही व्यापक क्षेत्र मे अपना स्थान बनाए हुए है।और अगर हिन्दी को इस क्षेत्र से हटा दिया जाए तो शायद ही फिल्मो़ मे धड़कन बना रहेगा।

Even though I am a kannadiga, I totally agree to the fact that Kannada industry is no where close to rest of the south. The amount of good films we are producing compared to rest of the south is very little. There are talented film makers here in Kannada. But when you compare it's far less in number
