I have owned a RR engined Arnage and a BMW engined one. The BMW 4.4 is by far the better of the two. Less expensive to run, doesn't eat or fry itself, and cheaper to buy (but strongly suspect that will change)
That is by far, the finest looking Arrange I've ever seen, even if it is missing the trunk umbrellas. Great review. I don't know if you realize this, but the video cut off mid-sentence. How about doing a part two?
Picnic tray related, most Bentley’s were driven by owners so they didn’t care if it had the tray tables. Rolls Royce’s are generally driven by hired drivers so owners actually sit in back of them
✨Awesome✨❗️I own a Franklin Mint 1/24th scale 1998 Bentley Arnage Green Label that i received as a birthday present way back in 1998, the year that the car debuted❗️It is painted the same green as your car, has green carpeting throughout (including the trunk, of course) as well as a green dashboard & green piping on the conolly leather seats❗️i LO❤️E it❗️
Both are very reliable if well cared for and regular maintenance, like any vehicle of this era. I myself own and drive a 1999 Silver Seraph ,the sister model.
4.4 by far, pretty much a regular V8 setup as late e30 series but with different tuning. A friend of mine bought the pre-05 6.75 last year and he nearly spent as much cash as the price he bought the car for within the first 3 months on engine works alone, and still didn't stop it from breaking down another 5 months down the road. Needless to say he sold it not long after
I don't want one with out the tray tables either, that's the same way I feel about buying and Jaguar, it has to be VDP. You sound like one of us Yanks in the US mate. lol. In one of your other vids you also said the 2007 Arnage was the best year to own, so my question would be which year would you recommend for someone who's never owned one? There aren't very many independent service techs who specialize in them in my city Austin, TX.
Mate bought one of these cheap a few months ago and needs about 3 grands worth of work. I’d love a 4.4. They are cheap as everyone wants the 6.75 so it’s a buyers market if you are savvy. The 4.4 has not got that load down torque but really flies when you give it some beans and is really sweet.
The 4.4 bmw green label is more reliable its only after 2003 when they sorted out the red label problem with the head gasket. Am not far off from buying one myself on the green label 4.4.
Hey very cool Video, hope you see this comment after all this time, but why would you recommend the 4.4 V8 from BMW over the 6 3/4 V8? I am realy interested, cause I am looking at a 6 3/4 right now and try to get as much information about these cars as possible.
I have owned both. My 6.75 had its head gasket go (£3,500) then the gearbox (£2,750) then the water pump. I sold it. Bought a Green Label (4.4) and in 3 years I put 25,000 on the clock and NOTHING went wrong.
The sirleeng wheel was nice cover same seats color bright or that wooden piano from the rear picknjck tables.apart of these aspects the car I's piece of history
is there a part 2? the video cut off mid sentence at 14:55

350 bhp 6.2 seconds good for most cars buy this is 18 feet long so it's pretty awesome
wish I had this car! wow, such a beauty 👍👍👍
Thanks! It's a fantastic car!
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME..Agree it is 9.9 out of 10!!!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Wow way cool
There one for sale with the wooden door bits in and the table plus there added the TV to it but that green one looks better that you got.
Need more info about the engine. Need more info to rebuild one.. thx!
Which is more reliable, the 4.4 or the 6.75L?

Er seems to have cut out mid sentence at 14.55 ........ part 2 please Keith ??? or is that now Sir Keith for services to the motoring public ??
I would love to own one.
They're getting pretty affordable! Check out ebay in the UK and in America!
Gonna Swap the 4.4. T into an e39 BMW. That's what I've been looking for. Factory Turbo m62 engine. Brilliant

I'd say Greeb Label Arnages with the BMW 4.4 Twin Turbo engines and 5 speed transmission are the easiest to own and maintain 👍👍

But avoid the 'T' as it eats its camshifts....@@CarLifee
Would you sell?
It's beautiful honestly
Looking at getting one in the near future may do weddings ect when i retire

I would go for the 4.4 with the 5 speed auto, but both are great

Why do you prefer this over the T?
the t is notorious for eating up camshafts and lifters/tappets around 50k miles onwards
The 4.4 liter a f1 technology twin turbo on.
@@TurbochargedV6 I saw one with a V8 Chevy motor in it. The yanks are crazy.
Nice old car.
The sirleeng wheel was nice cover same seats color bright or that wooden piano from the rear picknjck tables.apart of these aspects the car I's piece of history
Add Nitrous Oxide .
All of these cars are yours?
Yeah I love 'em
You resell or keep them?
Everything is for sale ;)
Why slam the truck? You lower it down and latch it, than she closes it herself..
Looks like the oil pressure is too high.
Because it's cold. .I think
what a lotta people will do....will do what?
Sunroof was a £11,000 option.
And they are really prone to rust.....
THIS CAR IS FROM 1999
although Cosworth is nice, no one gives a fuck about it they want the Royce motor. be real the T is the one to get.
You don't want the T prior to 2007. The T eats camshafts for breakfest
Expert ? You havent got a clue what your talking about ! Every option is available at a price, Btw i work at the factory i probably put this together
