    Emma is suffering separation anxiety and even though it makes you feel guilty,DON'T give into it else it will become harder to leave Emma with anybody else,including Justin.
    Leave her for 10 mins a day even if you go for a walk around the block and then make it a little bit longer each day,and slowly she will realise your coming back,take it from a mom who had to do it with all 4 of her kids,and yes it broke my heart but it was for the best on my part for the sanity and on my childs part for the independence

      It’s actually natural for them to grow out of it, no need to force it! It definitely wouldn’t have helped me to leave my girls!

      steph gibson totally agree! I knew a girl that screamed and through a fit till she was 4 any time she wasn’t with her mom. Train them young to be able to leave Mom!!!

      I disagree. I dont think it's that serious, and if it is Seperation anxiety then its just starting.... I think Emma is starting realize a little bit of freedom with her being able to move around alone.. Now that she can wiggle her way somewhere else, and lean and express she wants mom instead of dad she does. She is able to do it now, and they probably pass her back & forth without realizing she is doing this. She loves her momma though ❤

      I'm dealing with this now, but only when he's alone (like in his play pen or saucer & I go to the bathroom or whatever) he screams like he's being beaten, but I leave him for longer each time & now it takes longer for him to start to cry.. or he'll stop crying quicker :)

    • @ranaa3851
      @ranaa3851 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Strongly disagree. She’s VERY young still and it is very natural for her to cry for her mom even if her mom says the word “bye”. She can absolutely comfort her baby when she cries for her. Let people parent their children how they want. There’s no such thing as loving ur kids too much.

    O my gosh Emma is such a mommy’s girl!! Her crying/fussing when Rachelle leaves the room is the sweetest/most heartbreaking thing ever!! Lmbo...it’s so funny that Justin can’t think of what he wants when he’s hungry in a grocery store....when I shop when I am hungry I want EVERYTHING!! 😂🤪

    Both animals are also like, ”what mom?? No, please don't go!” and Emma definitely doesn't want mamma to go. So precious. I need a child to spoil soon!!! I'm 33 and my clocks ticking. Love watching your channel. Thanks for the all the happiness you make in my life! Xoxo

    I have 3 tests from my daughters pregnancy saved and she's 3yo now. It may be a normal thing but I think going through IVF also makes you treasure and want to bottle up those feelings/moments forever 💗

    I still have 6 pregnancy tests from my daughter who is now 3 . No shame over here whatsoever. It took us so long that these will be memories forever.
    As far as Emma being attached, it's totally normal for her to love her mama. She may also be craving the closeness from breastfeeding. My baby still cries sometimes for me and she's 3. She's also very independent and doesn't need me when I wish she would. All normal developmentally. Dont force her, she will grow away... cherish it ❤🤗😘

    I have several videos addressing my daughters separation anxiety. It started around 7 months and it is so much worse now (she’s almost 15 months) and there is no end in sight. Everyone recommended forcing separation to “teach” her but I found that it just made everything worse. Good luck and trust your instincts!

    6-12 months is when little humans go through the developmental stage of separation...understanding of themselves as separate from their caregivers. They also begin to understand object permanence (this is what makes peel-a-boo funny!)
    If caregivers take a ‘don’t give in’ attitude about it, this normal phase can become the basis for separation anxiety later.
    Patiently and gently show baby that they are safe with different caregivers. This is a sign of healthy development!

  • @heatherwoodis4717
    @heatherwoodis4717 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have my positive pregnancy test in her keepsake box. We were told we couldn’t get pregnant. I just couldn’t bring myself to part with it. Also, it’s completely normal for baby to get attached to momma. There will come a day where she’s 16 and would rather hang out with her friends and will be embarrassed to be seen with you. Take all the snuggles you can! She’ll outgrow it for sure. Study’s show that cuddling babies and picking them up when they cry and co sleeping actually help with their independence, and they’re less likely to have abandonment issues, anxiety, etc. cause they’ll learn that if they go off somewhere you will be there when they go back.

  • @heathers4229
    @heathers4229 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yes! 7 months is definitely around the time my kids both started acting like that.
    I kept my positive tests from all 3 of my pregnancies. (2 living, 1 miscarriage)
    I just wanted to tell you both that you're awesome parents and you are both so supportive of each other and are doing a great job! You have Emma on an schedule that I envy. Haha and she's already sleeping through the night and naps well by herself! That's amazing. Enjoy all the great moments and try not to let the stuff you can't control get to you.
    Prayers and we'll wishes to your family! 🙏❤

    Playing peekaboo a lot with her will help her a lot when you leave the room. She is learning object permanence. She thinks you have disappeared when you leave but if you talk to her as you leave and from another room she will know you are still there. It gets easier and it is a cool milestone.

    We warm up pouches at the daycare I work at by setting them in a bowl of warm water. You can also squeeze them out of the pouch onto a spoon to feed her. Or try and hold it in her mouth and squeeze a little bit at a time until she gets used to doing it herself. My son couldn’t do it himself without making a mess until he was almost one.

    My little guy is the same way right now! He could be sitting on my boyfriend right next to me, then all of a sudden look at me and pretty much dive at me. He's been learning to pull himself a bit and he'll grab onto my clothes and pull himself towards me or pull up on me till he's somewhat laying on me. He's only a few days older then Emma but I've noticed over the past few days he's starting to do it more then he usually does. He could also be hanging out with both me and my boyfriend and if I get up and leave his sight, he starts to get fussy and sad. We do the same thing, I walk away saying bye-bye to him, he doesn't like it either! haha
    One of his favourite things lately is sitting in the shopping cart! He loves everyone looking at him and being able to see new things, his face lights up and he gets the biggest smiles.

    My LO is going through separation anxiety as well. I let him know I’ll be here and I’ll always be here. I don’t let anyone else hold him when I know he wants me. I know some people say to not give in but.. we need to do what we want as mothers.. I did the same with my daughter. It only lasted a month or two.

    Babies start to realise they are a separate person from their mother which can be a little bit scary to them and make them clingy. In the next few months she will also go through a stage where she gets a fright and cries if someone she doesn't know very well talks to her or tries to touch her. It usually only lasts a few months so don't worry

    I nanny for a family who have a 2 year old and a six month old; both girls. The 2 year old never really had separation anxiety until recently due to always being with me. The six month old hasn't shown any signs of having separation anxiety but I think it is because she is used to me being there everyday. Maybe if your mom can watch Emma for an hour or two a few times a week while you go do some errands she should get used to it. I know its hard but it'll be okay and she'll soon get the hang of it. I still have my positive tests from my pregnancies, even the ones that didn't end successfully. My last pregnancy was 11 yrs ago so, no, you are not alone!

    Yay for comments! And I absolutely save every single positive I’ve had. My oldest child is almost a teen and I still have his tucked away in a bin. Haha

    i just turned 21 in February and i looked in my baby book for the first time on my birthday and my mom still has the pregnancy test from when she found out she was pregnant with me and it’s so old you can’t even tell the reading but it means so much to me that she kept it because i can only imagine the feeling she felt when she read it back then ❤️ she found out on the 4th of July she was pregnant with me , talk about a family barbecue 😂

    If you want something for Emma to hold her own pouch with so she doesn’t squirt it everywhere, search EasyPouch on amazon. They’re the best pouch holders, I wish I knew about them sooner for my son!

    The first time I got pregnant, I kept my positive test and I ended up having a miscarriage at 9 weeks. When I got pregnant with my daughter I also kept my positive pregnancy test because I wanted as many memories to hold onto ❤️

    I kept mine from my son who was stillborn. I’ll never get rid of it. I was so sad when the positive went away months after he passed ( it was a digital), but I still won’t throw it away
