- After the recent nerfs to Vivaldi Bank and the Blood Money leader ability, we've seen a significant drop in the Syndicate play rate for 11.5 since Golden Nekker decks no longer have the same appeal without their key tutor. Of course the faction has other strong decks, but this takes full advantage of every card from the recent Chronicles expansion AND when they're used correctly, they're incredibly strong. After experimenting with both non devotion and devotion, I feel that devotion plays a lot smoother. In this video I talk about card selection, reasoning and strategy before playing 4 games with live commentary for reference.

Here is a future deck idea: Could you make a specter deck? (banshee, wraith...) These monsters are very cool (in the lore) but I'm not sure if it's possible to build a good deck around them.

I really like this deck! I'm curious though why you left Boris out? I know at 8p he is pricey but his rework made him great for this kind of deck.

Thoughts oh hysteria instead of dip in the pontar? Potentially much higher benefit for killing something and minor synergy with Kurt? Makes the combo with drill slightly worse though.
Pontar + Jr. or Tunnel Drill is as crisp as a Redbull that you put in the freezer for like 15-20 min.

There's lot of high base power cards for bounty like savollas stuff Ignatius Witcfinder... And with bounty controls and renfri I think there's no deck that this one Couldn't beat
I've been trying to build a skellige rain deck but im kinda horrible at deciding which cards to use lmfao
Which would be the best to use?
It's somewhat down to preference based on what you're facing. Key cards that can't really be substituted are Messengers of the Sea, Anglerfish, Little Havfrue, Melusine Cultist and Fucusya. If you are facing decks with lower amounts of tall punish, Melusine is a good option for both rain generation and carryover. Megascopes are also a good consideration as Messengers are your bread and butter, and having more to pull back with Freyas and Fucusya later is always a plus in case of graveyard hate like Squirrel. A Squirrel of your own as well as a Pellar are good calls, as Rain doesn't get any Devotion payoff, so having the utility is worth it.
Kelpie can be good with Melusine and Havfrues as the Beasts it boosts need to be unboosted, and those units self damage or damage others letting you negate the cost. Kelpies deploy also doesn't need to be massive as you should have plenty of rain generators for it's passive ability, so you don't necessarily need to fill in with the maximum amount of beasts. I personally find Kraken, Fulmar and Rioghan to be too easily countered and to essentially amount to "win more" cards. Some people swear by Vaadermaker and Scepter, but I find the combo awkward outside of Golden Nekker (which I don't like playing with Rain anyway, especially with Compass nerfed). It can be massive if used with Skellige Storm and some good timing though.
Speaking of, Compass can be a consideration to play alongside Roach/Knickers and Corrupted Flaminica, as you can polarise the deck with trash 4p Beasts that you aim to burn off anyway, leading to a bigger Flaminica and potentially a later Legendary like Kraken or Fulmar if you really need them without sacrificing their provision costs in your build. Compass is also just a damned good card generally, but if you skimp on thinning, it can be a struggle to get the second part of the ability out of it without risk. Other pointslam cards like Axel can also be worth it if you don't feel like fiddling with Flaminica, as it has a lower ceiling but doesn't need carryover setup and can create Beasts for Kelpie to work from.
In short - build with the key cards and try out different packages, see what works for your matchups based on your style and what you're facing.

I've replaced one oxenfurt guard with a squirell to be able to face equinox. What u guys think?

Imo if you’re swapping out a guard for squirrel you’re likely better dropping jr. for heatwave as well.
At 31:48 would it not have been better to play cleaver without using his fee? Because he got you ahead with just the shakedown so you could have saved coins for carryover into next round. Unless you were going for a 2-0.
57:00 QC triggering my ptsd here... As soon as I saw the decklist yesterday I immediately went and tried it for 11 matches and a Nilfgaard Imposter deck used scorch against a similar board, only with Tunnel Drill still on it... Not to mention them Ihuaraquaxxing my Professor out of the deck, Damien de la Tour out of theirs and me not finding Whoreson Junior to deal with it after going 9 cards deep with Bank. Truly traumatic. Great fun as a whole, though, and highly competitive. Went 9-2 (admittedly only rank 3 at the moment)
As I said on release, for me Eveline is MVP especially for Lined Pockets. Awesome card. Oxfenfurt Guard also just excellent value. Great list, great plays. Always love your Syndicate, QC, absolutely love watching the faction pop off with old favorites mixing with the new cards.
Great presentation. I've just come back to the game and this is helpful. However the game seems to dying. 5-10 minute queue times for each game. Ouch
It may be due to the season being over in 1 day and many players are waiting for the patch. Could also be the rank you're at and active player counts within it. I can confirm that the queue is still fast in pro if that helps.
technically you can get the open Sesame full value in one turn, if u use brawler to spend to zero then profit just 1 and spend again and again till you meet open sesames condition, all in one turn
Also, the change to the guard coming in 11.6 further supports this. This deck will be even better next season!
A deck so scummy it make NG look like rainbows and cupcakes in comparison. But I find these decks a bit, so it's good to learn what they do!

Yeah! Sigi Genius is great in this kind of decks. Usually you get the two cards for three coins at maximum. Even with a lot of cards without gang tag.
Bassi, Gallo and the Oxenfurt guard are fun to play.
