- Removing invalid FEC/SWaP codes from VAG MIB unit with OBDeleven. If you enter hidden menu and can see some #invalid FEC/SWaP you can try to remove them from the #MIB main unit.

My unit does not allow of removal of invalid FECs with self-generated service codes if the system is not patched. Not sure how other units behave.

As said: custom codes (even those for invalid deletion) will only work on patched units.

I followed the procedure, but the invalid codes don't get deleted; I have a Mi2 STD
Self generated codes (including those service codes used to clear invalid ones) will not work if unit is not patched.

What happens when You delete invalid codes?
Well, since those are invalid codes, they do not work anyway. Removing them helps keep the FEC container organized. For example if you buy seconds hand unit and want to remove codes that were generated for previous car (with it's VIN and VCRN). It's more of an OCD thing that actual functionality.

as long as you have a set of valid code, you can just ignore those invalid ones. Clearing them will only help you with OCD.
@@mrfixplI gave it a try, and I still have them. The unit is patched I have have enable other codes using ODB11. I'm wondering if these "double" codes can be affected using the options in fecgen: "temporarily/permanently withdrawn" codes?
