As a Christian myself, let's not make comments disrespecting Islam. They also believe in Jesus, just not in the same way we do. He is still a prophet/messenger of Allah in Islam, and he also performed miracles, as mentioned in the Quran (3:49).

Before I mention this, I don't mean any disrespect; I just want to point out something very important. According to the Quran in Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:46-47, it says that God revealed the Injeel/Gospel to Isa/Jesus, and that a devout Muslim must obey what the Injeel says because it came from God.
That same Injeel/Gospel came 600 years prior to the Quran, and it says in 2 Corinthians 11:4, that if anyone preaches a different Jesus than the one His apostles preached, and a different Gospel than the one they preached; you must give it up immediately. Galatians 1:6-9, also says that if anyone preaches a different gospel than the one revealed to Isa they will be under a curse. That we should not accept any other revelation from man, or angel. We are only to accept what was revealed to Jesus; the Quran contradicts itself in that passage. Also, the Quran in Surah An-Nisa 4:157 it states that they tried to make it look like Isa/Jesus was crucified, but He was never crucified, so He never died for our sins, and He was taken up to heaven with Allah.
I hope this will help you understand why they don't believe in the same Jesus, and it will inspire you to learn more.

Assalamu 3laykum ya akhi Lucid, SubhanAllah few weeks ago i had a discussion about what is the definition of Islam with my big bro and i totally told him that the meaning of Islam is "Peace". After i said that, my big bro told me that Islam only means "Submission". Now looking at this video truly is shocking and mindblowing for me because i can somehow view you as my big brother. You tell us so much that will benefit us in the dunya and the akhira. My video idea would be how to be more motivated and interested in the religion of Islam since i am really struggling at keeping up with the reading Qur'an, learning aqiydah, fiqh and many more. Insha Allah you will become a scholar one day and gonna stay on that path. May Allah bless you Lucid.

As-Salamu Alaykum, Alex. You raised many profound points in this video which are greatly appreciated, however there's a major issue you unfortunately fell into when you were discussing the "slippers facing up" deal. The orthodox Islamic position is that Allah is literally above the heavens(above everything), as per the Quran, the Sunnah, the consensus of the pious predecessors, statements from the companions, and even the God-given human intuition. "And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves …" [6:18], "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High." [87:1], "The angels and the Ruh (Jibril) ascend to Him …" [70:4], "Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven, will not cause the earth to sink with you …?" [67:16]. A Sahih hadith: "Narrated Mu'awiyah b. al-Hakam al-Sulami: I said: Messenger of Allah, I have a slave girl whom I slapped. This grieved the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I said to him: Should I not emancipate her? He said: Bring her to me. He said: Then I brought her. He asked: Where is Allah ? She replied: In the heaven(meaning above the heaven). He said: Who am I ? She replied: You are the Messenger of Allah. He said: Emancipate her, she is a believer.", and of course Allah sees and hears everything. Please look into this, as it is a major part of creed.

    1:33
Bro Allah is above the heavens, that's what the prophet approved the Sahabas on and what allah himself said in the quran: for example in surah almulk: أأمنتم من في السماء ان يخسف بكم الارض فاذا هي تمور * أم امنتم من في السماء ان يرسل عليكم حاصبا فستعلمون كيف نذير
And in surah al-an'am: وهو القاهر فوق عباده
In surah taha: الرحمن على العرش استوى
And in sahih muslim page 537: فقال ائتني بها، فاتيته بها، فقال لها: اين الله؟ قالت: في السماء، قال فمن انا؟ قالت انت رسول الله، قال: اعتقها فانها مؤمنة
So he the prophet made believing that Allah is above the heavens as an answer to become a believer in islam
And zainab the prophet's wife used to say to his other wives in bukhari: زوجكن اهاليكن وزوجني الله من فوق سبع سماوات
And many other evidences that proves that allah is above the heavens, to the point that some scholars counted more than 2000 proofs that Allah is above the heavens, and some scholars wrote a whole book about just proving that Allah is above the heavens like Imam dhabi (الامام الذهبي) who wrote a 300 page book about proving that allah is abovethe heavens called: العلو للعلي الغفار

Every religion needs a video like this. My dad has a saying "the church ruins the religion". My family is mormon and at one point my dad was the leader of the priests (basically just the adult men) and he turned it into a support group of tight knit young fathers that could help each other through whatever just like the others would for them, just like christ taught. Then the older men combined and started hyperfixating on doctrine and obsessing with being perfect and better based on the culture of the religion and the letter of the law, not the spirit of the law. as an Exmormon now, the culture absolutely doesnt follow the actual religion, not even close. its why i left. Nothing proves a religion wrong faster than letting outside forces effect your relationship with god. Churches often let politics and corporate greed ruin their credibility and many people fall for it. The mormon culture is one of perfectionism and high horses, the religion literally has a chapter in the book of mormon warning about rich people in a great and spacious building mocking and leading true believers away. The mormons that follow the culture are the embodiment of that great and spacious building. they build fancy temples in poor areas in order to help the poor grow closer to god when a normal building would suffice. The words do not match the actions. This kind of culture is in every religion. this kills religion its why there are more and more people leaving religion. I am grateful you seem like a true believer of your religion and you are spreading the good word of Islam instead of the facade people parade around. I wish my religious leaders had the same views as you do. This is what its all about not looking good for other members or feeling entitled because of it. Religion is deeply personal and i feel every singe religion has a dominant culture that ignores the basic teachings and creates a random facade for people to compare themselves to other people with. Its the people who actually follow the words of the religion and not the culture surrounding it that are truly faithful.

The idea is that you cannot use your brain to imagine Allah so we believe in him as the way he described himself in his book and the authentic hadith, beware of the ashari group, if you willing to discuss this further let me know.

Glad u don't have any ill intention brother to answer your question, to my knowledge and research"in the past it's said that, that was the norms people back then normally had marriage contract with young females and consummate the marriage when they reached puberty when they were physically, mentally and psychologically matured and responsible, the controversy about the marriage is a quite recent phenomenon cuz during the lifetime of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, his enemies would search for any way possible to harm and defame him. They called him crazy, spread false rumors about his wife committing adultery, and tried to kill him on multiple occasions. They took advantage of any opportunity to physically harm him or expose a potential flaw. So one would have to ask: if the age of ‘Aisha was truly controversial, why didn’t his contemporary enemies use it against him?
Because back then it was completely normal to get married at young age and people usually mature early, the question I have brother is who sets the age of consent?, presently now in some countries the age of consent differs for example in some countries it's 14 and some 15 and mostly it's 18, now maybe in the future the age of consent might change from those ages mention above to a higher number does that mean the people in the future should look at us in the present as weird people because people now can get married at those ages ? We shouldn't use presentism to judge past just like the future generation should not judge us at the present, and Remember back then u could see a 12 yr old leading an army going to war and yes Muhammad (pbuh) is someone we should try to follow but that doesn't mean we can get married to 9yr olds because 9yr olds back then are not like that of today so if the age of consent is 18 for example in some Muslim household marriage contract can be set before the wife reached puberty (18yr) old but it can only be consummated when she reaches the age of consent (18yr) and she has to be physically, mentally and psychologically matured and responsible which at some point is beyond puberty and the marriage cannot happen without her consent that's how we follow his example
sorry it's this long peace brother ✌️❤
