The ’Lunch-pack’ is a very popular sandwich type in Japan. It's made by Yamazaki Baking Company, the largest bread maker in Japan. New Sandwiches are released every month & there's around 150 different flavors produced each year! The most popular flavor is the Peanut Lunch Pack, which is filled with a sweet, smooth peanut cream. It's horrible. Avoid it. I recommend the Egg or Tuna Lunch Packs. Yummy! Get Some!

I'm sure someone else has already said this, but if not... The caramel cookies in the Tin - I have seen most often in Coffee or Tea Shops!!! Placing one on top of your cup will soften the caramel & eating it while enjoying your coffee or tea will sweeten the experience!

The stroop waffle you place over your coffee or tea. That warms up the Hong type syrup. Yum. Best cardboard ever. Great snacks 6 heads on everything.
I found them once in my local grocery store and really enjoyed them. Have looked again but didn't find them.
Today's epic meal was quite a sugar rush! I don't know how you kept so quiet. You were fortunate the Chef didn't come out and deliver a smack down on you both! :)

Cause these are pretty good imho. I always buy them when I'm in the Netherlands.
Of course if you eat a bunch of stuff that's loaded with flavor enhancers before them, then they'll just taste like nothing really.
Pro tip: When you get the munchies after you smoked some, then these Stroopwaffels are a heavens gift😂

Liquorush in europe is dense but mild on flavor 👍 every thing was great the green grap sandwich no so much maybe add some blueberry in the mixture. I will try the vegimet was there any 🦘 jerky in the box 😀✌️

I bought some kinder eggs for my grand daughter. They have cute toys inside. I also was able to get some EVERY BURGER cookies. They're not as great as I thought they'd be. Tim Tams are still the best.
We get those COFFEE CRISP bars here in Maine, they're soooo good. It's like a big coffee flavored kit-kat bar. What a wonderful package from Canada, this group has some of the best members and that's evident from the comments section and all the gifts that get exchanged here. I dont know if they have it in Japan or Canada, but Hershey's 5th Avenue is my favorite candy bar of all time. My wife gets me one whenever she goes to the pharmacy which is the only place to find them for some reason.
A package from The Netherlands! That's where my X and her family are from, very nice people, I wish I could have learned to speak Dutch while with her, it really is a cool language. The Dutch know their sweets and snacks! That's a place I wasn't really expecting a care package from! Oh crap, did I wake the Chef?!?! 🫢

The Lemon Sandwich definitely looked the tastiest! Also it's interesting how popular Licorice with salt is in some places and how there are varying degrees of saltiness like in spicy foods, ha.

It looks to me the 2 French toasts are made with the crusts of their sandwiches. They must have lot of bread crusts. Great idea to think of making new products with the leftover crusts.
Some shops turn the crusts into breadcrumbs or rusks that are sold as snacks resembling croutons or breadsticks. Other shops send it to farms to turn into animal feed.
Man I could go for a sandwich right about now!

Holy Doodle, stroopwafel! Stroopwafel are normally placed on top of a mug of coffee or tea, so stinking good! Absolutely delicious and one of my addictions, though I stay away from the Dutch store because I tend to overdo it buying these and salted licorice. 🤤
Fun fact (to me anyway) if my Great Grandmother hadn't remarried after her husband died, my last name would be VanderVoort. McKay is bad enough; it's always mispronounced.

Hi Eric and Mega. Weird Sarnies for sure. The English rusk thing is not English we do get plain ones which are Nordic I think. When I lived in NE England my friends there liked sugar sandwiches, just buttered bread liberally sprinkled with granulated sugar, I had never heard of it before. Also a good wound cleanser if infected is to rub a bar of soap across the dressing part of the plaster, and then sprinkle with sugar. Place the dressing on the wound and it will draw out any impurities. The Dutch "caramel cardboard " are sold and loved over the USA as Stroop Waffles, I don't like them at all but apparently from watching an American shopping vlog you rest them on top of your coffee/hot chocolate, but like you naaah, not for me. The best English toast is cooked over the fire, both sides, and then slathered in butter salted or unsalted. Well thanks for this entertaining episode and see you in the next one 😂👋👵🏴

Being a Canadian I know that ALL of our candy bars/snacks are superior to what the US has...IMO. Love the Tee Shirt Eric, as I operated CAT underground mining low profile diesel front-end loaders in my mining career, both manually and 'remotely', my favorite brand of machine, so your Tee Shirt holds fond memories for me...BTW, the first sandwich is the only one that I would even try, the rest, 'meh'! Thanks Eric and Mega, it's always a blast to watch!
