Hiking Strawberry Peak via Redbox Canyon - Angeles National Forest - May 2022

Strawberry Peak is located in the Angeles National Forest.
You can access this hike from the Red Box Picnic Area parking lot. You'll need an adventure pass to park. The trailhead can be found across the street from the parking lot.
This hike offers a lot of great scenery, and spectacular views from the peak. It's a fun challenge on it's own but is also currently listed as one of the options for the Southern California Six Pack of Peaks challenge, making it just a little more popular. This is a dog friendly trail so it's likely that you'll run into people and their dogs.

I'm leading a group on Sunday there, and would like to offer them the route you took. I need to make sure the less advanced hikers in my group have the option to not do the Class 3 climbing involved.
