Post-It Notes, Paul's first recorded EP, conveys the multitude of styles that form his own. Comprised of blues, folk, country, and a touch of celtic roots, this album truly encompasses who Paul is as an artist. Never wanting to stick to one particular style, he is every changing and evolving with every new experience.
Recorded internationally, the EP has roots based in Vancouver, LA, Liverpool, and Ireland. The scratch tracks being originally recorded in Vancouver by Paul Caldwell and Lucas Ross, were then sent to LA, where his brother, Christy Caldwell, and friends, Sid Jordan and Bill Lanham, recorded drums and bass for three of the tracks on the EP. The vibraphone was recorded by Vidar Norheim in Liverpool, and the Uilleann Pipes were recorded by Irish musician Chris McMullan.
The EP also features talented artists such as Alvin Brendan, Brian O'Brien, Callum O Riordan, Barry Quinn, Derek Maroney, David Lavoie, Ben Barber, Natalie Ramsey, Devon Wells, and was mixed by Jeff Zipp, and mastered by Brock McFarlane.
