I bet you were the most beautiful woman at the event. Most women, when they attend an event seem to me to go overboard with their make up. But the simplicity of your style is timeless and just so lovely. Stay cool!☀️☀️
I don't have the money to buy books from bookstores, so I go to my local public library here in the US to find books for free. I don't purposefully go for more "well-known" books, I just pick up whatever seems interesting to me lol. That said my favorite books I'd highly recommend are Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell (the first book in the System Divine series), which is like a retelling of the French Revolution but like a futuristic Sci-Fi version. Another is Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim, a fantasy-romance that's very east-asian inspired and I love the main character Shiori and the romantic subplot. Also The Candle and The Flame by Nafiza Azad, which is based on the Islamic lore of the Jinn, and is very South-Asian inspired which I was immediately gravitated to being Indian myself :) Anyways sorry for rambling, these are my recs that I personally enjoyed the most!
