A flying visit to one of my favourite cities, Simon was traveling there for the Seafood Expo and I jumped at the chance to go too! He is often worried when I join him on a work trip that I will be bored but how can you possibly be bored in Barcelona, so much to do and see.
This trip was little less sight-seeing then last year as I took some time to relax and enjoy my book and some much needed down time!
We stayed at the fabulous El Palace Hotel it's our second stay here and its truly a wonderful hotel.

That’s great advice for any city walking, Charlie - look like you mean business and plough on with confidence - DEFINITELY not distracted by a mobile phone - my friend’s very savvy commuter daughter had hers just snatched out of her hand by a cyclist on one of the London bridges in rush hour recently and force of it knocked her flying, such a shame we have to be on high alert all the time!
