I don‘t know exactly what the audition was for (Festival orchestra?), but I sincerely hope you got it! Great playing, bravo! May I ask where you study?
Thank you so much for your very nice comment, and I am glad you enjoyed it! This video is my audition I submitted to the Verbier festival orchestra, which I am very lucky to have been accepted to and I will be going there this summer. I was at Juilliard for my undergrad with Joel Krosnick, and I am currently doing a master’s degree at Rice university with Brinton Smith, who is principal cellist of the Houston Symphony.
@@sebastianstoger5798 Congratulations for your well deserved success! Your playing is indeed remarkable, you are mastering the cello at an astonishingly high level! Complimemnts to your teachers as well and all best wishes for your future career!
Thank you! :) It fluctuates depending on the day since I’m still a full-time student. But recording auditions are good “practice” as well. I believe this one I submitted here is take number 10, which I then sent to the festival.
Excellent. And brave choice, too!
your tone gives me chills. incredible
Thank you!
@@sebastianstoger5798 of course! you inspire me to practice
I love the tone

@@mfd1512 thank you so much! I really appreciate your message! I see you are also a fellow cellist, I looked you up! Are you still based in Berlin?
What piece is this 😮 the first one
Prokofiev Sinfonia Concertante!
How many hours do you practice each day to get this good?
