It's crazy that how these Smash presentations are layed out, I can watch them so many times without getting tired of them. I've watched all the Smash directs at least 5 times to see reactions.
so joker apparently has lucina's down smash, ridley's nair, zss's f-air, sheik's up-air, link's f-smash among other things. he looks good and fast but I think as the meta develops his (non-limit) recovery will be gimped a lot. kinda like the belmonts I think he is really well-designed. in a few hours we will try him out ourselves^^
What I'm scared for is if he tries to tether with the grapple hook, will it grab people so he dies instantly? That could be devastating for fighting against braver players
Actually the stage might be legal if with hazards off it only has the two platform set up because it wouldn't have a ceiling and might actually make an interesting stage.
Also, you could make flat platforms in Smash 4's stage builder... All you had to do was turn the grid on, and tap points on the grid to draw straight lines between them. Didn't you know that?
Just so you know, there was actually an option to use a grid with dot-to-dot input in Smash 4's stage builder. The way to turn it on was not intuitive at all, and I was similarly disappointed when I thought I only had the relatively imprecise touch screen to work with. From the looks of some of the sample stages, I think this will have a grid as well.
They actually have the ability to do the things people want! I'm excited for the patch and with everything they announced I was like "they're not gonna have that in.. meh" but they actually do
I think hes going to be top tier Just cause he seems to have enough tools to win without his persona, yet if your losing you the persona bonus. Looks like you only need 1/2 counters to build up the persona with 50-60percent left if you get hit a few times
I love how people keep saying a stage is banned in a game where hazards can be removed. It’s almost like there is something in their head that has to make them say BANNED, BANNED, BANNED, to every stage. Though if this stage is still ban worthy with hazards off, I’d be interested to know why.
Highly recommend P5 if you get the time. SO GOOD. The grappling hook is unique to Smash though. He doesn't really have anything else that would let him recover though.
