In the DBZ Game Budokai 3, Saibaman’s explosion will always one shot and take away all of Yamcha’s health no matter how much he has. It does 9999 damage. 😅 That doesn’t happen to other characters in the game.

Yeah that's something that also kinda dragged through OG Dragonball didn't it. He got wrecked be Tien before he was one of the good guys, (Krillin ate the bullet for the "demons/Piccolo" arc), then he got wrecked by "god" to show the gap to Piccolo Jr. and probably some other ones i am missing.

The new superman trailer Spark the controversy of Yamcha death pose, there is no official statement of it being reference to Dragon Ball but previous Superman movie Man of Steel had fight which was inspired by Dragon Ball Z, it was stated by officials and crunchyroll have article about it. DBZ have very Big impact on the world of entertainment and even in real life world.
What really sucks here is Yamcha went into this deliberately protecting Krillin: he knew if anything happened to him, he wouldn’t be brought back to life a second time. And given that the Saibamen had to resort to a sneak attack, it definitely would’ve pulled the same stunt on Krillin. Guy went down a hero and all the fans give him shit for it.

yeah the Japanese voice actor does good job of showing how confident and relaxed vegeta is. His voice is smooth instead of gravely like the English voice actor. I like Chris Sabats Vegeta but yeah I think I like the Japanese one a bit more.
Dying was unironically the best thing that ever happened to Yamcha. Now they're selling figures of his pose and it's being referenced in anime and even outside of it, to the point it's almost beaten only by the Akira bike drift.

ヤムチャのこれまでの戦闘歴(VS悟空、VSジャッキー・チュンなど…)を見ても油断の繰り返しなので、彼の性格なんだと理解している。

Vegeta is the best anime/manga character for me as a Japanese growing up with Dragon Ball, and Horikawa-san’s noble voice is essential for him.
After being asking for the role, Horikawa-san decided to act Vegeta as a brutal villain more than the original manga, which was in progress at that time, and ad-libed offensive language such as ‘Kisama!’ because he believed that his appearance was for a few weeks.
If he didn’t accept the role, Vegeta wouldn’t get popular this much and Toriyama-sensei would make him exit from this universe.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy his character development!
