Dude literally has the most OP fruit in the series. Considering he can manipulate anything in his room, gamma knife and counter shock bypass durability and any defense since it directly attacks your insides. He had to be nerfed for multiple arcs because lets face it, i could see him easily beating the warlords if not for that "his ability doesnt work on strong haki users" bullshit oda came up with.
they could've made Laws fruit balanced if it was only a small area he could manipulate but naw Oda decided to make it completely massive so he can slice mountains in half for the heck of it. Now as a result he has to be repeatedly nerfed every arc so he doesn't solo the entire one piece verse, idk what he was thinking when he made a unique power system of haki and decided to create one power which just deletes all of it
The problem is not exactly the size of the Room, it's Law's attack mechanics. Mes (scalpel), Soul swap, Amputate, Gamma knife - all of them are one shots that suppose to take down his opponent immediately with a single move and they can't be spammed like Luffy's punches because there is only one heart in a person's chest, right? xd And THAT created a problem, because a main antagonist CAN'T be one shotted no matter what, but what else left for Law to do if 90% of his attacks work like a one-shot? Honestly the way Law keeps being toned down lately gives me a headache. Just rework his fighting style then, Oda! Stop telling us that the thing he used to do he can't do anymore because haki or another bs, that's not very much exiting development for Law's character and for those of us who enjoy watching Law fight.
