@@JoyGirlYT how can they have racist implications, graham literally goes out and get the word of the indigenous cultures and publishes their beliefs. oda must have been inspired heavily by The Mysterious City of Gold (1982 & 2012) this total of 4 season cartoon tells almost exactly one piece whole story in great detail, not to mention the Ending 1 of One piece & the city of golddl reveal so damn similar
Great video as usual. Critical thoughts not meant to insult: 1. Something having racial implications has no bearing on whether or not it’s true, so shouldn’t be used to dismiss things out of hand 2. There’s camaraderie in viewing all our ancient civilisations as sharing common mythological ancestry. So in a different sense it has anti-racial implications anyway 3. One of the key crackpots is that Atlantis is likely to have been in Africa, so not a white saviour deal anyway Great video
Plato actually heard it from his uncle that was shared to him when he was in Rome and and also it is written about the atlantine and sea people roar against the Egyptians. It is written on Egyptian walls and painted. So there's more accounts than just plato
Thanks for the video. I love your channel because unlike others the focus is on the voice and information (no or not too loud music or other noises in the background). With my Asperger thats so much more relaxing to listen to.
Never thought I would hear Joygirl talk about Graham Hancock 😂 He’s a bit “out-there” but he’s definitely not racist & never claims this race of people were white. He spoke at length about the tragic loss of knowledge from the genocide of the Native American population at the hands of shortsighted European settlers.
I understand your thought process on not wanting to believe that particular theory because it might mean that one race ushered in advancement for the entire world, but that can be true and it can be false and they both can be good. Atlantis could’ve consisted of people from all kinds of races and they could’ve actually been people with blue or green skin like there are in the Egyptian hieroglyphics, but you’re definitely right I do see how someone can use that as propaganda.
Joy Girl, [Haki is the spirt. Will is the sprit.] Geek adhd: Atlantis was all but conformed when the world weapons was a ship and a mermaid; Sykpeia was the hint (uno reeves card); the red line showed the Vikings realm's. The flooding kind of placed it in your face. US has states below the sea level so the Ideal is not impossible it could have been a real land. The Viking arc going to show the end I hope it adds a stag or Chopper turn into one in Sulong.
Wow didn't Expect Gram Hancock and Donnelly to enter the chat lol 15:29 loved that you have a very based take on it lol was about to get my googledebunkers shirt on xD
This is a fantastic theory! I enjoyed the ramble from the beginning to the very end! You should definitely have 100k subs idk how you dont as of yet but keep pushing, your content is great 🤙🏾🔥💯
the talking points and theories he refers to often frame these advanced civs as white. While Hancock might not actively be pushing the idea, he doesnt need to say it for us to see the dog whistles. if he didnt tjink so, he would spend more time calling out his sources as racist. But that would invalidate and discredit the foundations of his pseudoarcheological beliefs
With the Ancient Kingdom being brought to the forefront in the story if Loki is not the main antagonist of this arc I believe it will be the Hitler looking king Chap seen at the Reverie meeting and will mirror the S.S's hunt for legendary relics like Thor's Hammer or the Spear of Destiny.
there is a conspiracy youtuber that insists Atlantis was located in what nowdays is the "Eye of the Sahara" a geological formation also named the Richat Structure he also claims it dissapeared with a time coinciding with the Younger Dryas event. So it was a really old civilisation from 12000 years ago.
Plato’s Republic informed the lore and culture for the Disney version of Atlantis. Although it mainly harkens back to the live action Disney movies of old and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy since Mignola himself was called in to help with environmental design and some character designs. This Ancient Kingdom and its downfall against an army of several united kingdom city states has too many parallels to ignore the Atlantis influence. Good on you JoyGirl for spotting this likely Oda inspiration.
FIIIIINALLY someone speaks about it 😭🙏🏻 even as a child when i heard the first time in one Piece the term "ancient kingdom" i thought: oh that definitely must be some atlantis typ of sh** Thank you so much for speaking about it ❤ joygirl you never dissapoints 🙏🏻
Plato lived in the Greek Classical era, Atlantus would have been around in the Greek Bronze ages. We know little of those areas compared to greek classical periods that everyone thinks of the greeks. The reality is, we had the glaciers melting 12k years ago which was during the Mesolithic Greece era. Waters wiping out entire contiuents is a real thing with the melting of the glaciers and we see this in the Great Flood. We know little about the Greek technology even of the classics due to wars melting down machines they used to sail the seas thanks to the Antikythera mechanism.
"Advanced" is quiet fun, because advanced for the standards of ancient greek is not that special. And its sometimes even called the "lost continent of atlantis", what would be quiet a step up in size.
I've been fascinated with Atlantis my entire life and not once did I ever think about the color of their skin. Who cares what color they were. And by your thought process if they were all the same color, no matter what color, it'd be racist. So what, are they all supposed to be different conplexions? Well you know what, usually people from the same region are the same color. This is the first time I've ever seen some mention Atlantis and racism in the same conversation.
The Ancient Kingdom being based on Atlantis could fit quiet well. I suspect that the incredible scientific growth on bio engineering is what caused the schism between the Ancient Kingdom and the 20 kingdoms. Since the minks consider humans to be hairless minks. I think the Ancient Kingdom originally only had humans. They probably augmented humans over time and those augmented humans are now the different races. All Celestial dragons are humans and even Alabasta has very little humans with characteristics like sharp teeth or some mink like features.
Why does everyone who goes over non mainstream history deem it necessary to call them racist and stupid in long paragraphs without substantial reasoning?
Using boundless examples of new evidence that forms a different narrative that you don't like and isn't mainstream doesn't equal racist or pseudo. That's really fucking annoying to me I'm not going to lie, because it immediately shoots down everything that's not set in stone (wrongly) like Christopher Columbus, Human Migration Patterns, THE OPPOSITE WHERE PEOPLE SAY THAT ANCIENT PEOPLE COULDN'T BUILD MEGASTRUCTURES THAT MODERN PEOPLE CAN'T COMPREHEND. These are all things that are being or have been proved bullshit by the same kinds of theories and or people so please stop being ignorant for the sake of made up racism arguments that don't hold water in these contexts For fucks sake
@@3evo333 I think it's useful and necessary to point out that where some ideas may be racist or pseudo. I completely agree that history, like science, can be proven wrong and we're finding that out all the time, but that should also be true of non-mainstream history. I didn't mean to say that Hancock himself was racist, but I stand by my point that his theories can have racist implications, which I think is more complex and my bad for not going into it deeper, that wasn't really the crux of the video and didn't want to derail the discussion.
@JoyGirlYT Fair and the comment isn't specifically aimed at you, but as someone who has a huge Hyperfixation on archeology and likes observing the near constant breakthroughs of new ideas you literally cannot go one second or google search or even ai discussion without someone calling the thing you're researching worthless or bad for vague reasons that often don't hold up. Not every theory is the dumb Nazi science or undermining indigenous people's abilities. It's just really tiring and demoralizing to have the constant conflation then just so happen to pop up in a One Piece setting where I wasn't ready to deal with it. Hence why my comment is pretty heat of the moment frustration.
Atlantis was real imo. There’s descriptions of its location and its structure. Those that lived there spread out around the world when it sank. This is why Egypt, Mexico, Peru and other countries have similarities with pyramids. The pyramids all reflect Orion’s Belt.
Haki technology would be insane You’re definitely barking up the right tree i’ve been thinking the ancient Kingdom was based on Atlantis for a minute. I just feel like your thought process on the race thing is holding you back. I definitely think there was some racism and prejudice in the ancient Kingdom, but I think it was multiple races there that had political or noble like power but none of them stood above the rest until Imu defeated JoyBoy and took the empty throne, like how the powers were balanced with the warlords, the world government and the Pirates pre-time skip. Or the empty throne always existed, but it wasn’t empty, and the king was racist or his race was hated by a lot of other races idk its a lot of ways Oda could play with it but I think you’re headed in the right direction
Another connection to Atlantis that Oda MIGHT use is the story of Doggerland - a REAL Atlantis story from the land of the Vikings in Europe and the British Isles. Doggerland was a giant landmass that completely sank and broke apart, between about 7,000 and 10,000 years ago. This ancient kingdom and the cultures that lived there have been wiped from history by the rise in Sea levels after the melting of the Ice Age. The Ancient Kingdom of the Will of Doggerland? 🤔 Another interesting candidate could be Dryas, which is the Ice Age, from about 18,500 years ago to about 11,700 years ago. The kingdom of the people of Dryas? The will of Dryas? Sea levels rose about 400 feet (125 meters) since then. Aside from those, I made a full write-up (mega-theory) post in this comments section the Denisovans and the ancestors of Japan - which connects closer to Asia and Japan than the Western Atlantean theories. For more info on Doggerland or Denisovans, th-cam.com/video/FpSx-WH-N6g/w-d-xo.html @HistoryWithKayleigh makes some excellent Anthropology and history videos on those topics. 🙂👌
Graham hancocks book” fingerprint of the gods” became and international best seller 2 years before Oda started one piece… the premise of finger print of the gods is this: the “gods” of our mythologies and basis for our civilizations where inspired by real life high technological world wide civilization and they where wiped out in a massive tsunami and flood but their fingerprints are left behind in stone megaliths and common cultural symbolism across the globe… mentioned often by Hancock is the feathered serpents and dragon myths across the world, fishmen and fish people, giants, and winged races or angelic like people. There is an interesting thread with Zoroastrianism and winged people, eternal flame, cycles of hero’s returning in new forms and asuras being good but considered evil by the gods
Fingerprints of the Gods came out in translated Japanese in 1995-1996. It was a huge hit in pseudoscience and pseudo history at the time. One Piece came out shortly after that book. I encourage people to listen to that book because the concepts of a vanished civilization (Ancient Kingdom/Void Century) and a lot of other stuff (Ancient Egypt) are direct influencers on the ideas Oda created. For instance he discusses the Olmec race who worshipped Quetzalcoatl (who’s appearance is copied 1:1 in Skypiea showing his dragons head on side of building in the city of gold) The Olmecs were known as the “rubber” people because they lived in an area that had organic material that is used to create rubber.
Ok so zi haven't watched this video yet... But what I actually know about "Atlantis" is multiple "Stories". #1 I'm pretty sure this is also the story about Alexandria and It's Library of Treasures. The story goes it either blasted off into the skies as the seas swelled and swallowed the rest, or it simply was swallowed by the Sea. Either way, humanity lost a great deal of treasures and artifacts at that point.. this could/would be quite the end game seeing as how Emu is trying to make the water level rise.
Graham is not racist. He has been smeared by people who disagreed with his work. I would suggest watching some of Joe Rogans Podcast with Graham. That being said. Oda definitely likes the Atlantis theory/story.
Again. Misinterpreting the event. Dibble was clear to claim that graham wasn't a racist but the occult references are. You know nazi occultism, they believed in atlantis and lost civilizations to lay claim to an aryan race that were the rulers of these lands. Ffs. Do some due diligence before you spout gender affirming steroid user and safe space seeker, joe rogan. Not only did dibble smack dowb with evidence. You know using what is available to provide insight into what happened in the past. Vs Graham "i have no evidence" hancock. At the end of the day, the remarkable claim requires remarkable proof, which graham self admitted. One thing we can agree, Oda tells this fictional story better. Just don't slander a man trying to do their job to educate vs a celebrity who failed at fiction and has been successful in pseudo infotainment. If Graham isn't addressing his source of his references association with the nazi occult... Why so defensive? Why obfuscate? What is he hiding? Dibble might be above claiming graham is racist I'm just saying I have a stronger argument that graham is a racist based on grahams own level of burden of proof. Also joe and graham had to have an exgirlfriend level whine session to talk about dibble behind his back. Crying in their safe safe space. 😂😂😂😂
@@SomaSong except for the fact that dibble straight up lied and misconstrued his evidence in that debate and that is now a proven fact he did. You should also look up the beliefs that Donnelly held cause he himself was not a nazi of any kind and speaking of nazis they stole and appropriated things from cultures around the world such as the swastika which has been used by indigenous North American and Indian cultures, the term Aryan comes from india.
@ first off the errors by dibble he addressed. This insulting take of "he intentionally mislead..." Is straight up bs. He mispoke in an instance and the other time he mispoke about numbers of boats and corrected his statements. Graham has double downed on "dibble was mean to me" and cried. Dibble admits, owns and corrects his mistakes. So your side is straight up lying about dibble. Regardless of those errors it doesn't change the main points of the argument and graham has shown nothing to support his "theories". Dibble showed up with facts, like atlantis is fictional to begin with. Graham showed up with some vacation insta pics. At the end of the day, dibble brought the receipts and graham didn't. Had to resort to dragging Dibble's name when dibble wasn't there to defend himself. Kick rocks.
@@SomaSong actually that's where you are wrong. Graham has stated over again that he believes dibble could have misspoke but came in with an intention to win and smear him instead of having g a proper debate. Secondly I am not talking about the shipwrecks number which he only exaggerated by a factor of 10. Sure we can go ahead and just say be simply misspoke but I am talking about him using a bar graph showing the iron levels from the times of Roman's to try and say that there were no spikes in Iron use from 10-12 thousand years. Which is a complete and total misconstrue and misleading use of the information at am intentional level to make himself look good for the largest podcast in the world
Apparently Oda is all over the place with his historical, religious, philosophical and other ideals that he has introduced into Onepiece. But, I've never heard about Atlantis besides Aquaman, which I don't even think that's correct. Marvel did it the same way Oda did lol. Anyways, this seems to fit really well and it does help explain off V.P.'s neutrality on the ancient kingdom. Just like the Castle in the Sky where I think the technology was going to spell an end for the world. This is the same story and on the D.F. I bet the formation of the D.F. was also sucking dry and killing the world. Which ancient weapons and D.F. that were killing the world. Only makes sense the people of old revolted against the Ancient Kingdom. This makes me think what I've been thinking since the beginning, Luffy's going to destroy the entire thing. He want's freedom for all, not just the descendants of the Ancient Kingdom and he fights against the W.G. now because they are the oppressors. But the Ancient Weapons getting into the hands of the wrong people can cause problems. So, why not do away with it all? I don't think Luffy will kill Shirahoshi etc...but the Onepiece was most likely used in the past as a way to activate and control the Ancient Weapons, so why would Luffy leave that power around after he's gone? I think he's gonna destroyit all.
Hancock's books do not propone racist ideas. They tell us in english what he has went and had translated by indigenous people in the places theyths come from. He also uses the word shining or light more than "white". Dont believe the slander concocted by people that dont want you to believe what hes saying. I mean were talking about one piece here so that sould already be in your mind lol. Listen to HIM talk about what he believes not what other people say. I mean his wife is from Tamil in south india. Shes very not white. And he believes her culture created the works in her area, not white people. He just says they the people of indigenous cultures say themselves that they had help from the gods which they describe as shining full of light. 😊
why do hancocks books never question how europeans built things? No one doubts that the irish built Newgrange, or if the greeks built the parthenon but when it comes to non european cultures like the Egyptians or aztec he consistently claims that those people were incapable of building anything on their own and must've gotten help all with no evidence
@Typ35849 you clearly haven't read his books.. for one there's evidence for what he says. For two he's not questioning Greece or Rome or Ireland because he's not studying those places precisely because he leans towards the idea that the non European cultures are a great deal older and as such more important. He questions them because he realizes that they are likely Europe's own legacy and this comes from his own mouth. He never says his culture is white he merely says that the description in the myths of the andes allowed Cortez to manipulate the inca leaders. Not that the original myths were about Spaniards. Please read and judge for yourself instead of relying on someone else's opinion. That's lazy.
Love the videos joygirl but you need to do your research better. The story of Atlantis originally comes from the ancient Egyptians and was told to Plato by an ancient scholar who protected a really ancient library where the story had been passed down from antiquity by the keepers of this library and Plato visited that library and was told the story of Atlantis by a man named Solon. It is also not racist at all and you really need to not listen to people like flint dibble who go on podcasts like Joe rogan and straight up lie about their so called proof that it doesn't exist just so he can look good to the public eye and "win" a debate against the much more famous and well known graham hancock. Mainstream archeology screams racism whenever there is an idea they don't agree with and don't want to investigate. Tell me how it is racist if we all agree that humans originate from Africa and then spread out and populated the rest of the world and then over time the genetic differences from diets and environments had us all develop into what we are now as a diverse species. How is that literally any different than what Hancock claims which btw he says that he believes they helped already existing societies and people to build their society's to a greater height and spread new information and ideas. Not that they came in and completely took over, and every idea we credit to the indigenous was actually someone elses. Also, I come from the indigenous peoples who you claim Graham is being racist towards and I'm just gon a say to study our own legends and looks at how many of our own indigenous origin stores talk about people coming from across the sea and helping to foem and advance society's cause one you do you will see almost every indigenous group has a origin myth similar to what Graham has claimed.
Thanks for taking the time to constructively engage. I never claimed and didn't intend to say Hancock is racist, but I stand by what I said that his hypothesis can have racist implications, and indeed his work and Donnelly's have been appropriated by white supremacists for their own agendas. I think there is a difference between the Out of Africa theory and Hancock's. Importantly, Hancock spends considerable energy to suggest that the deity figures (namely, Viracocha) that helped build indigenous societies were white which is controversial belief because this portrayal of Viracocha as being white has been refuted as it seems to have only come about following the Spanish conquest. And so in my opinion, Hancock, as a journalist who is investing into this field much more than I am, should be more balanced and transparent in also discussing the controversies and opposing beliefs. Otherwise, it could have dangerous implications. Anyways, happy to discuss further!
@@JoyGirlYT So because Donnelley work (who didn't believe in an Aryan term considering that term was still basically only used in the middle east during that time to describe a class of scholar) that was written in the late 1800s and then adapted by m*th taking nazis decades later, you assume the people who believe in their works are all racists? So do you consider the Hindus, Japanese, Korean, north and south Americans who used the swastika to be racists as well cause even tho that symbol can be found on 5 continents dating back 10,000 years it was appropriated by the nazis as well and used as their symbol. When it comes to the one very specific singular example you have given to try and say he has to be more balances. Graham goes out to these countries and speaks to the elders of the indigenous communities and listens to the stories that they tell him and then he presents those stories in an unfiltered way to show that us indigenous cultures have had these stories for hundreds to thousands of years. Compared to people like flint dibble and John hoops who will absolutely not go against previously published texts and will follow whatever woke agenda they are told to push and have been proven to lie and misconstrue or completely bury information that could show they are wrong. So when these so-called academics who are the ones saying that they dispute the fact viracocha was supposed to have been of light or fair skinned, tall and with a beard but yet the literally indigenous leaders who have been told the stories by their elders for thousands of years say that we believe him to appear this way and to be arriving from the seas and the only reason the Spanish wasn't completely wiped out when first arriving was because they thought viracocha was returning then I am going to believe the elders compared to the scholars who will tell that elder he is lying or misinformed and then site a paper that one of their peers published based on an older paper published by another academic which his was based on another even older paper when not a single one of them has even gone out and asked someone of indigenous descent what their people believe and you cannot say it is because the Spanish talk of the indigenous texts saying what viracocha looked cause cause we literally don't have any because thanks to the Spanish 95-98% of written records from the Maya, Aztec, Incan have been completely destroyed and the only writings left are the ones done by the Spanish which are the ones cited and used by the academics who say Graham is lying but yet Graham has literally went out and gotten the elders words on his peoples ancients beliefs
idk... having references to atlantis in a story based on a verse where basically everything is on water is kinda on the nose. not trying to offend you but you're probably the last person thinking this lol
Its sad to see that the enemy of Graham Hancock are affecting him this much. If you watch/listen/read to Graham Hancock’s Podcasts or books, you’ll see that Graham is a very kind hearted, humble, very respectful and a super matured soul. The racist things came from the people that are being affected by his work since Graham is questioning the real history of mankind and so these archeologist who already established and made books about this fix story about our history and are making their living through that and then there’s graham who’s questioning all that and is finding reasonable proofs that yes the history that is being taught to us is full of holes and theres much more to our story. Graham is being attacked by mainstream academia and archaeologists for questioning and having proofs that the history they’ve been telling is not it. And one way to silence graham is through these kind of tactics, calling him racist and stuff. Pls watch at least one of Graham Hancock’s podcast and his wife is Indian, brown skinned so stop buying that racist agenda against him
Hey are you aware that you used a LOT of AI images in this vid? I'm assuming you didn't realize. Just so you're aware: 0:00 2:34 2:53 (I'm fairly sure?) 3:17 3:24 4:39 13:20 (come on that one's not even good) 18:13 (the background only, obviously) Those are definitely AI, the 2 I think are AI but there's no obvious evidence are: 2:00 12:06
Archeologist really hated Graham getting all that attention, hate to see it, but there are people who will google his name and find untruthful inflammatory claims dismissing his 40+ yrs of expertise he's brought to the field. Archeologist really did a disgusting yet affective hack job on him. put it this way- in my humble opinion One Piece is, in disguise, a synonym to our world history
OMG!!@ YES YES YES I've low key starting believing this theory for the last year after reading about the "emerald tablets" which could be likened to the Poneglyphs. Ancient stone writings that tell the history of an ancient kingdom that has been lost to the annals of time
For those that are shamming JoyGirl, or giving her heat about the claims of racist implications of the two guys's work--give it a rest. She's clearly a good and experienced researcher. The focus of this video is about One Piece lore, not what we're dealing with in the real world. She also made it clear that she wouldn't bother to get so philosophical and political about it, although with One Piece, that naturally happens with serious content creators. Anyway, I liked this video. Plenty of nice moments that gets me thinking critically about art itself and just how painstaking Oda is about art. He's a dynamo.
Wild to see you refrence graham, ive been his fan since ancient aliens came out.. top notch bloke.. almost one of the most important of our time… without him i wiuld mever of gotten into ancient history as heavily as i have. Long live the apkallu
Also dont ever call him racist again. Your speaking out of ignorance.. he grew up in india and has a dark wife.. hes anything but racis. Stop labbeling humans
The reason they say hes racist is because if hes correct most of the indidgenous land claims fall through the floor.. imagine.. who we thought were the ancient egyptians, are just squatters… your idea of racism is cooked
Really turned off by your percieved racism rant. Super cringe take and i hope Oda doesnt devolve into some ideological race allegory at the end of the story. That would be awful and a huge fumble for a multi decade running story that transcends people's base instincts.
What the topic that our own stories talk about these men coming from across the seas and helped us build our civilization and brought new ideas. I come from the peoples of North and meso America and these are the origin myths we have told for hundreds if not thousands of years
Graham is a sweet, passionate, and for everyone's sake, brilliant journalist. To imply that his work promotes or is somehow racist is wrong and shows you didn't do your research. Do better before calling someone something so vile.
@@KayDSavage-dy6ofhow is that when Graham has literally comes to my people and listened and translated our own origin stories and myth and in our own words and stories we talk about these people coming over and helping build our society and brought new ideas to my peoples
No, she absolutely is not. She is regurgitating bs claims of racism made by white men about other white men who have actually went out and did the work, lived with and experienced and studied my peoples cultures and stories we have passed down for thousands of years where we in our own words, stories and myths talk about the people coming from across the seas and bringing new ideas and helped us build, grow and advance our civilizations.
YOU COOKED!!!! I loved the acknowledgment of the racist underpinnings of those theories. I used to feel that the AK was a harmonious place but now am wondering if humans were subjugated/discriminated against there and had to develop or tap into Haki in order to resist the dystopic regime, but the WG (a coalition of humans) succumbed to the same hubris/corruption which is why World Nobles want so badly to be the gods they destoyed. I think alot about how they, Kaido, King, etc. talk about humans. Clearly some non-human races had more empathy and morality than others, just as is the case with humans in relation to fishmen today. What if JoyBoy was a Fishman or Buccaneer???
She did not cook a single thing she regurgated the views and claims made by so-called mainstream archeologists like flint dibble and John hoops who go on national podcasts like Joe Rogan and have been proven to straight up lie and miscontrue evidence because he is in the largest podcast in the world so he has more eyes than he every would any other way, all so he can say he "beat" Graham Hancock in a debate who is a much more well known and liked personality.
Lol at the amount of people that stand up when they feel attacked, so many "um actually" responses from people just to express their feelings instead of actual facts. Phenomenal, just hilarious how they wont realise how much they dont "um actually" know or are blind to. 🤔 😂 also, Uranus is a dragon or blimplike flying warship.
Atlantis is real and they were populated by melanated people. Look up Thoth the Atlantien , Lemuria and the Mu Kingdom. Ancient black societies were more advanced than modern day technology and Atlantis was a world wide Kingdom. I wouldn't under estimate Oda's genius because he know's more about the history of the world more than the majority of humanity. Don't limit yourself to mainstream white academia approved version of history. The truth is stranger than fiction and that truth is the world of One Piece.

Not even Plato believed in atlantis
The problem is that these theories have been used to justify racism for centuries and there's no evidence that Atlantis was ever real.
Completely agree, and the point of my video was just to say these ideas exist and have existed and it seems Oda was inspired by it!!
Joygirl tells me I have to watch a video, I watch a video.
Been waiting for your video .
Wow didn't Expect Gram Hancock and Donnelly to enter the chat lol 15:29 loved that you have a very based take on it lol was about to get my googledebunkers shirt on xD
checking in captain! o7 excited for the video
Geography is Everything!!! 😄
This is a fantastic theory! I enjoyed the ramble from the beginning to the very end! You should definitely have 100k subs idk how you dont as of yet but keep pushing, your content is great 🤙🏾🔥💯
I believe that the Ancient Kingdom is a reference to the lost Indian sunken city Dwarka and the Will of D could stand for the Will of Dwarka.
Just another video to solidify JoyGirl as the best One Piece tuber. Also, Jango does have the power of hypnosis from a magical mushroom :)
good point about Jango!!
The void century is my favorite one piece theory
Graham never claims that the ancient/lost civilization was white. That is a narrative from his archeological opponents
the talking points and theories he refers to often frame these advanced civs as white.
Good on you JoyGirl for spotting this likely Oda inspiration.
the ancient kingdom reminds me of Numenor an ancient civilization that tolkien used as a reference to atlantis in his works
FIIIIINALLY someone speaks about it 😭🙏🏻 even as a child when i heard the first time in one Piece the term "ancient kingdom" i thought: oh that definitely must be some atlantis typ of sh**
Thank you so much for speaking about it ❤ joygirl you never dissapoints 🙏🏻
Ohhhhhhhh this makes so much sense I can’t believe I never considered it
Wow, how did I not think of Atlantis when we got that the world “sank” confirmed. Epic!
Some also believe Atlantis is mythlogical legend based of the lost civilization of Lemuria, too.
Robin looking horrifying the thumbnail 😶🌫️
Great video❤
Why does everyone who goes over non mainstream history deem it necessary to call them racist and stupid in long paragraphs without substantial reasoning?
Using boundless examples of new evidence that forms a different narrative that you don't like and isn't mainstream doesn't equal racist or pseudo.
That's really fucking annoying to me I'm not going to lie, because it immediately shoots down everything that's not set in stone (wrongly)
like Christopher Columbus, Human Migration Patterns, THE OPPOSITE WHERE PEOPLE SAY THAT ANCIENT PEOPLE COULDN'T BUILD MEGASTRUCTURES THAT MODERN PEOPLE CAN'T COMPREHEND.
These are all things that are being or have been proved bullshit by the same kinds of theories and or people so please stop being ignorant for the sake of made up racism arguments that don't hold water in these contexts
For fucks sake
Another interesting candidate could be Dryas, which is the Ice Age, from about 18,500 years ago to about 11,700 years ago.
I think I prefer the theory about the golden city and the book it’s based on(forgot the name). It made more sense.
For instance he discusses the Olmec race who worshipped Quetzalcoatl (who’s appearance is copied 1:1 in Skypiea showing his dragons head on side of building in the city of gold)
The Olmecs were known as the “rubber” people because they lived in an area that had organic material that is used to create rubber.
Atlantis was real. Its called the Richat Structure. Its in Mauritania.
Which is a complete and total misconstrue and misleading use of the information at am intentional level to make himself look good for the largest podcast in the world
@ put up or shut up. Where's Graham's evidence?
Also atlantis doesn't exist. It was made up.
I'm sure someone else probably mentioned it already, but it's "anti-diluvian", not "anti-divulian"
Yessss.....
Is Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro from a V family like the Monkey D family?
Theres nothing racist in hancocks stuff lol
Thats the power of flint dibble kicking in 😠.
@Typ35849 he for sure questions Europeans. Try actually reading his books.
That's lazy.
this sounds like something a colonizer would say 😂
@@GuitarCaliburx your ridiculous please grow up and read a real book.
Luffy x Nami at the end GGWP :)
Atlantis the eye of the Sahara. Look it up.
yo that looks fun! thanks bro!
Contemplating about Plato. Contemplatoing, if you will 🤔
This made me lol.

OMG!!@ YES YES YES
I've low key starting believing this theory for the last year after reading about the "emerald tablets" which could be likened to the Poneglyphs. Ancient stone writings that tell the history of an ancient kingdom that has been lost to the annals of time
He isn’t racist at all, that’s just propaganda. Also who cares if it has implications if it’s true? I’d rather know the truth… lol
Looks like Dr. Goebbels has entered the chat 😬
@ Hancocks work is plainly available to everyone, good day
For those that are shamming JoyGirl, or giving her heat about the claims of racist implications of the two guys's work--give it a rest.
Ummm Hancock is not racist wtf?
Yea thats a unsub sadly with the hancock comments that where not true
You lost me with the Hancock comments..sorry
Keep in mind atlantis doesn't exist.
Thanks for emphasizing the title of "PSEUDO" cause that's the most kind way of branding these people.
As someone from Latin America, thank you so much for addressing the topic at 15:00
What the topic that our own stories talk about these men coming from across the seas and helped us build our civilization and brought new ideas. I come from the peoples of North and meso America and these are the origin myths we have told for hundreds if not thousands of years
The AI art is weird :/
Racist implications???
Graham is a sweet, passionate, and for everyone's sake, brilliant journalist. To imply that his work promotes or is somehow racist is wrong and shows you didn't do your research. Do better before calling someone something so vile.
she didnt imply she literally stated how. @tfunkman
@@KayDSavage-dy6ofhow is that when Graham has literally comes to my people and listened and translated our own origin stories and myth and in our own words and stories we talk about these people coming over and helping build our society and brought new ideas to my peoples
She spitting facts
Barf at citing Hancock for anything ever. If you doubt the source never use it.
You're really smart. Please marry me 😫😫😫🙏

Get a grip. Also stop drinking tap water. It’s shrinking your balls and turning you gey 😂
You talk so slow, that watching at 1.25x is just perfect. Do you do that on purpose?
Atlantis is real and they were populated by melanated people. Look up Thoth the Atlantien , Lemuria and the Mu Kingdom. Ancient black societies were more advanced than modern day technology and Atlantis was a world wide Kingdom. I wouldn't under estimate Oda's genius because he know's more about the history of the world more than the majority of humanity. Don't limit yourself to mainstream white academia approved version of history. The truth is stranger than fiction and that truth is the world of One Piece.
