You aren't alone in these thought processes. On the daily I go into random philosophical discussions with certain people I work with or friends. I work in a pharmacy so it is quite unexpected.
It'll be 6 am and we are all still asleep filling prescriptions then start talking about the expansion of the universe lol. People get so into it they don't even need caffeine anymore for the morning haha.

As if I need another reason to know I'm weird, I always am inspired and get sort of romantically, wistfully doe-eyed every time someone talks about the fact that, despite how ancient the universe is and how long it will last, it still has an end. Have you seen the "What is the Future of Our Galaxy?" video by Sharkee? Oh my god I feel like I'm floating when I watch stuff like this.

Great videos but the whispering was 1,000% better. The non-whispering changes the aura from an intelligent man talking in a library to the mainstream radio talk show host.

But I just want to let you know that I don’t think you need to worry about tapping anything. Unless you’re doing it while talking. But you purposely stopping to tap just seems.... out of place, man.

Let's Find Out ASMR there sure is an art to it! You’re voice has a calming effect on me, and I really enjoy how educational your channel is (I’m a bit of an idiot space nerd). My perspective - rightly or wrongly - is that you are tapping because, hey, that is just what ASMRtists do, right? And I just don’t feel like you need to do it. If anything, *you* *are* *above* *doing* *it*.
Again, this is just my opinion, it’s not a video killer for me, just an observation, and you should never let anyone tell you what to do on your own channel.
I just think, maybe, you could benefit from being told it’s ok, you don’t have to do tapping, your content is fantastic without it. Superb. In fact. *Insert further hyperbole here*
