Thank you so so much for taking the time and answering my question in detail! I'm very excited to try out the method you have mentioned and keep on reading :) Thank you for your great tips and your work
Thank you so much for answering my question 😊❤️ your answer was very helpful and I understood these two ways of listening completely. And the whole video was very useful and informative ❤
Went to the Kinokuniya in New York today and topped up my stash of Japanese language books for next year 😊👍 So excited to be doing more reading and move my focus away from test prep soon!
おしえてくれて本当にありがとうございます!Thank you so much for answering my questions! 🙇♀♥ It had been hard to find what's popular or would be fun in native Japanese for reading materials. Unfortunately, searching in English brings back most of the same beginner materials, but in Japanese, I'm not sure which sites are best. I'll check out book meter and both of those booktubers!
You're very welcome! Thank you for your questions once again ❤️ I agree, avoid looking things up in english, you won't find what you're looking for unfortunately :/ definitely check up amazon japan too, and search in japanese!
I just ordered the Four Seasons notepad and washi tape from the Notebook Therapy site! I think i first saw it on your channel a while back, and while xmas shopping for others i came across it again and accidentally fell all over the 'buy' button. Tragic. :P Nice to see others not favouring Anki, i felt like i was mad not enjoying using it or any other digital flashcard sites. Now i use hand made paper flashcards, as I found it was actually the digital aspect and the unattractiveness that put me off! I use craft paper with things like galaxy and tie-dye print and coloured pens and stickers to make beautiful flashcards which i carry around, and it works much better for me. They're not my fav method, but my memory is terrible so I do need some kind of constant revision method for words and this works for me better than digital stuff like quizzes etc. Loving all the questions and answers, always so lovely to wake up on a saturday and watch your video with breakfast in bed!
My husband had 2 molar extractions 2 weeks ago and I had a fun summer of a root canal and crown myself so I can understand that well!😅 Quick question: what do you think of audiobooks? I've used Satori which is great and Lingq but I realised I don't have many apart from graded readers and Read Real Japanese Fiction. 🤔
oh my 😅😅😅 i hope you and your husband feel better now!! About audiobooks, I have never listened to one in japanese (like a proper one on Audible for example) so I have not formed an opinion about them ^^ however they do seem like a good idea if you're following along the text at the same time, don't they? 🤗 Satori audios I have indeed used in the past and they are indeed SUPER well made, I loved them!
@@arinoyume I was numb for 5 hours so it was fun eating! Me and and my husband were a right pair - both on soft food around the same time. 😂Thank you for your reply! It's something I like to try while following a book - I'm guessing it might be good for shadowing practise as well! (another excuse to buy more books.😅)
Very interesting video, as always !
