Yes, legally the case was built up in a very professional manner, but all the witnesses were manipulated and made available to the evidence in the Court. It was made to look natural and legal. The real architect was USA who used Zia. Mr Bhutto in his last speech in the NA has divulged the threat of Henry Kessenger that US would make him an exemplary PM. There were many flaws in the case.One of the judges in the panel Justice Nasim Hassan Shah in various interviews has confessed that the chief justice himself was biased against Bhutto and there was immense pressure from the CMLA on the panel.

If I remember correctly, he had written on the side of a report or file, “Get Rid of him” or “Get Rid”. This was the key evidence to link it with the original FIR.
