How would you attach that in your journal with the string wrapped around it?

I'm debating on gluing 3 sides down and leaving the top open for another pocket. I've also thought of clipping it to a page with a paperclip.
Also, I didn't use the string, I'm using velcro to close it.

This idea would make a nice wallet for your handbag. Maybe make with cork fabric or fabric.
E, I love these little pockets, but I don't understand how it would open, if it's "glued down" to the journal. I can make a ton of these with all my scraps! TYFS as always!

I saw right away, after you scored, what you were going to do. I did something similar but I didn't have the flap covering the three pieces. Mine had two pockets, one on each end, and a little pad of paper in the middle one.

Newby here. I love this little project, but if you attach it to a page, how are you going to be able to open and close with the string??
Sorry if I did not get it, but if you glue it in, would you be able to open the string? Or would you just have it loose in there but then you don’t have a back pocket. But beautiful😊

Cute, but as simple as you think it is, it sounds confusing with a sliver here, a sliver there. I know it would help me if you would write out each step for us including each sliver and each cut, along with the scores and folds. I may be able to make up my own, but since you have it all figured out, it would be great! THANK YOU, XOXOJANE

When you glue the triple pocket down, don’t you trap the string that seals the pocket closed? It seems to me it would fail to open.
Not if you did a single wrap around starting from the top of the brad down the back and up around the bottom and back to the brad. If you glued it down that way it should open freely
True! I was thinking about using maybe a Velcro closure instead.
