Holy crap, I'm shocked that you can actually load a track from an entirely different game and have it still work as a license test! I'm guessing the way the game codes the timed license tests is just X% of the way through the track to X% through, that's why it works.
Ya wanna know why the replay Is broken? Because your replay AI Is programmed to follow your race commands: You pressed left on a right turn? The AI Will do the exact same Thats why in GT PSP, if you Speed up the game (with CwCheat) in the replay, your AI Is broken AF, yet the normal AI Is fine. And thats why the 787B Is broken while the other Cars are fine
So, literally, in replays all the physics are recalculated? Interesting. Otherwise, when clutch command appeared in Forza, the upshifts never be good in replays
@@mattiapresti7295 sort of. The replay AI of the car you’re driving only follows the commands you input from the saved replay. If you change the track in the replay like in the video, the replay ai will still follow the commands from the first race
@@mattiapresti7295 - yep yep, the physics are all "recorded" in sense. Try watching a GT2 replay. Enable autopilot and THEN disable autopilot just before the car flies off. Your inputs are the same but the car will be all over the place because the change of physics (from recorded to real-time) are different from when you were driving yourself. I'm not sure if it's still prevalent with GT5/6/Sport, but the earlier games did record your cars' physics as well as your inputs.
This was an honest laugh, by lap 15 every endurance race in the AI Team radios are all like "Bono My Tires Are Gone" It also makes me wonder if eventually cars found a way into the pits. Or maybe the pits could spawn elsewhere?

The only thing that sucks about the song you get when you fail a license test is it’s one of the few copyrighted tracks here on YT, but one of the best ones for meme material.
14:18 I ttthhhiiink the game has vertical coordinates (as in GT5) for the start and the finish lines, and in A-7, those two are close enough to the Ring's start line for them to be within Suzuka's track length, and they succesfully spawned. Meanwhile in IB-2 earlier in the video, the test's finish line exceeded Suzuka's length, so it defaulted to the track's own finish line. There's also a chance the start line's Vcoord specified in the license tests is incompatible with TT Suzuka, hence both IB-2 and A-7 spawned the Benz and the Golf in the same straight in the track.

i can understand the pain of editing man, the most i can last without editing is a week, and considering our style of videos are DRASTICALLY diffrent, i have to upload smaller project so that my fans don't think i buggered off and died. i can only imagine how hard it was to not only edit a video like this but to fit it into a schedule like yours. this might just be your magnum opus if your editing style stays this way for the rest of your time on youtube, and i salute you for it. bravo.

some unholy glitches you dont even need a cheat just the vanilla game, a small pit entry or narrow streets like in costa di amalfi and a long car like tank car or Dodge ram. squeeze it into pits with front and rear against the walls and you cam break out and can make a journey off track. works in Nürburgring, el Capitan, costa die amalfi, Paris night in that one narrow part
One curious thing is that in one of the tracks on the Gran turismo Prius demo, there is an unfinished track that appears to be the Pikes peak one. Edit: The Pikes Peak track is from Gran Turismo 2.

Aaaah so the replay is not a footage, it's a rerun of the script using the information about what happened in the race/session. That's really interesting. It makes sense, there is no way they could store a 24h footage in-game.
I will never for the life of me: A: comprehend why Polyphony Digital thought it was a sensible idea to adapt Gran Turismo’s engine and mechanics into an all new series based on bikes. I don't know how you import this tracks, but maybe they have some code numbers in TT and in GT4 means another track... Maybe this explain this change Nurb for Suzuka with chicane...
Now that I have GT4, but have no plans on getting any real world motor licenses (the roads are war zones nowadays), and as an owner of Suzuki TT Superbikes, it seems Tourist Trophy has also earned a spot on my wanted list.
Another wishlist of mine would be more American sports cars, gt1 cars , gt2 cars and the secret cars from every previous game. Including the secret black lemans race cars. Also bring back the classic courses from the old school gran Turismo game. Also include drag racing and track editor. Asking for the perfect gt game may be asking for too much. Lol
