I think it's time you heard the soul in Rens music, Wade in the Water/Trouble so Hard by his former band The Big Push is one I'm pretty sure you'd appreciate. There's a whole other side of him you haven't really seen yet.

I have never heard of Ren. He isn’t bad. I have seen you react to Spanish Hip Hop. One of my absolute favorites is Resident. My top three from his is This is not America, Guerra, and finally Pecador. Definitely check him out you won’t regret it.

the parts that you are not keen on are the glue that ties the parts together , they are crucial parts of the song , Ren is a genius and gives us uncomfortable and hard to like .
for instance i dislike all music , dont get me wrong i used to be mad for music and turned my back on it all , Ren brought me back to loving music , but just his , why ? his overall philosophy of life , his mastery of music , his artistry , he is the freshest thing out there who puts in the work like no other ive seen .
it sounds crazy as hell but i had a whole spiritual awakening back during the 2016 insanity, like i got into different concepts like metaphysics, astral projection,reality shifting, bringing ppl back to life, just in general showing ppl that the things we all thought were so inevitable and immovable weren’t so set in stone after all, like some ppl say they’re a witch & manifest to feel cool about themselves but i mean it from the bottom of my heart & soul. ik for a fact nothing is impossible, so anything we can set our minds to, we CAN achieve. 🫂🫶🏼
