Hi Matt, if it was a bit longer with an overhang at the front would it pivot forward to the level position by itself as you drive on and tilt back by itself as you reverse off?? Then that would eliminate the need for a jack 🤔
I want one, but would you do it slightly higher so another minis front end can go under the rear tyres of the one in the air as I fit two minis in one garage then, currently takes 4hrs to get mine down off that pic I posted the other day, not very practical for a weekend drive
thats pretty cool, but I'd add some kind of wench to it, either electrical or mechanical, just in case the motor wont run you'd still be able to load it up to work on it. :-)
I agree mate ideally it would be good to load it all the time using a ramp I’d say as it would hold it in place as it’s a lot of trust in a mini hand brake to hold at that steep of a angle haha
Makes me wish I still had my Mini. Thanks for showing that.
No problem mate 👌🏻
Top job I think you will make a cracking job on that ramp .
Thanks buddy
That’s a great little ramp! I like that it wouldn’t take up any extra room in the garage.
Yer it’s no bigger then the mini and you have storage under the front I guess
That is a really neat ramp. Draw up a set of plans to sell. I would be interested as it would be to much to send a completed ramp to Australia.
I’ll just put it in a rubber dingy and push it away out to sea, well that’s how ppl are getting around to us these days haha
@@skidmores.garage good idea as we have been having a very wet winter with a lot of local flooding where I am in Warragul which is country Victoria.
😮 Nice, I need to build one of those
It is pretty good and a simple design
Nice useful ramp there
It is mate, I’m contemplating makeing a couple with slight upgrades
Make 'em and sell them! Maybe with your added twist to them, say they can be bolted apart/together just a little bit more and sold/sent as kits?
Yer I’d defo try and make it smaller to store when not in use

I did think that as well. I’ll have a play and see what I can come up with
I was thinking along those lines too, back end probably pretty light by the time the engine is past the pivot
@@skidmores.garage 👍 look forward to seeing it take shape
Omg I want one!
Good ain’t they

Could be done mate would need longer ramps I’d say so the angle isn’t so severe
If you go ahead with making them mate I'm in, was going for a hamer lift as don't have power in my garage but they went out of business in COVID
Cracking little ramp mate. Is the jacking plate on roller bearings ? Or simply slide
It just slides mate no wheels
"Beltin" that pal i'll have one would have to be a tad wider though so i could get the z car on👌👍
Yer I need a little wider for my busa to fit on one

That's a great job if you could work wheels on it would be some job
Would hard to put wheels on it to keep it not moving about
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe
Thank you much appreciated 🙏🏻
Put the bloody handbrake on before you lower that jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha for sure lol
If you moved the pivit point it would self level as you drove on
i did think about that but i sold it to a mate instead as my race car didnt fit on it
