Combining Game of Thrones with The Lord of The Rings makes perfect sense as Tolkien's legendary masterpiece was 1 of Martin's 2 primary inspirations (The Wars of The Roses being the other source of inspiration) in creating his world of Ice & Fire and when it comes to Tolkien's famed ranger turned warrior-king: Aragorn, no character of Martin's best resembles Aragorn in every single way than Jon Snow :)
Similar orgins & struggles of identity, strong sense of honor and right & wrong, unsurpassable master swordsmen, destined to be great kings and devoted to friend & ally alike. Jon is indeed to Game of Thrones what Aragorn is to The Lord of The Rings :)
Love this! There are great parallels between Jon and Aragorn, you can definitely see Tolkien's influence on George R.R. Martin's work!

Nice vid. I think he will be the one able to unite Westeros under one leader and they'll follow him. Firstly because of the White Walkers and finally because he proves to them that not only is he the rightful leader by blood but he will earn the right to be their leader though his actions to save his people.
Can't wait for Bran to tell him who his real parents are. Looks like we may have to wait till season 8 for him to find out. I think Bran will enlist the help of Howland Reed and Sam to break the news to Jon, as I think they'll have a part to plat in the reveal. It'll be hard for Jon to begin with but he will grow to embrace who he is and will act on it in order to win the Great War.
Thanks! I'd rather all the kingdoms go their separate ways and be how they were before Aegon's conquest but that's just me! Though, I do think that he will unite them to fight the against the white walkers. If anyone can do it, it's Jon.
Me too! It will be probably be season 8 but I think the reveal will be worth it in the end! I think Bran will need Howland Reed because he is the only living person who was actually there. A big theory is Sam will find some sort of proof in the Citadel but I'm sceptical of that. Whatever happens, it's going to be awesome!
I think, separate kingdoms is not good. It means future wars surely between the kings of these separate kingdoms. No: Westeros has to be united (with the wildling territory Beyond the Wall and the Iron islands) under one king to make sure the peace lasts long

I can not wait when Bran get backs to Witerfell. I hope to see an Bran dabete Jon about the threat beyond the wall. In one moment debate will change into an argue,
then Jon will say "I'm not a Stark",

Me too! I think that Bran & Jon might not meet until the end of series 7 or as late as season 8. We know that Jon is travelling south to Dragonstone to meet Daenerys. But whenever the reveal does happen, it is going to be epic!

What are they talking about? (Dany, Tyrion, Jaime, even Sansa and Arya). Maybe Sam will be able to keep on with them in their thoughts, and maybe Tormund. But noone else.

Who thinks season 7 is gonna be epic? Hell yeah. If those Reddit spoilers are indeed true, then damn. That scene at the lake with the Night's King is gonna be INTENSE. Bet your ass Benjen may not crash the party. Instead I reckon all three dragons are gonna shield the guys from harm. Imagine it. Rhaegal next to or in front of Jon protecting Jon from the Wights.
Whatever happens, it is going to be awesome!
Stannis The Mannis one rumour I've heard is Jon tells everyone to get to safety whilst he stays behind. Another one of his heroic moments, but Rhaegal refuses to leave Jon behind and Jon eventually gets on Rhaegal who flies him to safety. I like the sound of this more than him being left behind trying to fend off a hord of wights on his own which sounds a bit unrealistic. Jon is a great fighter but even he would have trouble fending off an army of wights on his own.
Yeah, I don't think that it sounds very realistic but it would make for cool viewing!
Yeah, sounds like horseshit that Benjen would just wait for Jon to be injured to arrive and save his life...so that ameliorates possibility of Rhaegal being the one that DIRECTLY saves Jon's life. Burning all the Wights and shielding Jon from harm. AWESOME.

I listened to it with headphones in the first place. And I can't turn the volume up because that way my earbuds will be blasted by loud music. If it was just the quiet voice I could turn the volume up, but the fact is that the music OVERLAPS the voice so I CAN'T turn the volume up.
Ah, I see. I'm sorry you aren't able to hear it properly. Next time, I'll make sure the voices are louder than the music :)
