signal is definitely one of those type of songs that you could literally enjoy listening to even if you're only playing its instrumental track. i've been a once since knock knock era and i could safely say that not a lot of ppl were very pleased with the song when it first came out but i loved it ever since day one, it def deserved its song of the year title. anw, thanks for this reaction fifi! i haven't listened to twice's old songs in such a long time and it was great to get to enjoy it along with your reactions! hoping you could do more twice in the future once you have the time to do so, no pressure ^^

GG (SNSD) is not the OG NGG, SES is the OG NGG from the 1st Gen and their physical album sales is still higher than SNSD, too bad that SNSD had not done group comeback for quite a while. 2, I think LOA pick up its momentum towards end of 2015 and peaked on digital charts early 2016, way before Cheer Up. The physical album also exceeded 65K sales before Cheer Up releases and added another 20K during Cheer Up era, so influence of Cheer Up is not that much. It is also interesting that even though their debut album was not an immediate success, the MV is hugely successful and became the most viewed debut MV for a kpop group within 6 months.

Cheer Up is the song that put Twice at the top of the kpop girl groups. Knock Knock gets a bad rap for several reasons. Some didn't like the vague connection to TT others felt the choreo was too simple. And Signal was a more experimental sound and people either loved it (like me) or hated it.
Chaeyoung became my bias in Knock Knock. She is a absolute angel. The b- sides of all of their albums are bangers to. They are my number 2 alt group. Precious 9 kill me everytime.

Thank you so much for this reaction Fifi! I wasn't expecting it but it was so fun rewatching these MVs with you, take your time but I'm already exited for the next Twice marathon. I'm not sure if you are familiar with What is Love but I think you'll enjoy the MV, it has a lot of movie references so it's kind of iconic. I think the best way to get to know the members is seeing them interact with each other, I'd recommend you see their Time to Twice series but I know it might be intimidating because there are a lot of episodes so I'l think of some short videos to recommend next time. Dahyun is certainly one of the most charismatic people in the world so there should be a lot of material there lol

The thing about Twice is... theyll get you to smile and brighten your mood 💕 I would suggest "Jeongyeon The guardian of Twice" its like 6 very short clips that give you a beautiful insight in their bond. I specifically suggest this Jeongyeon focused one because of her health, she hasnt been fully back for around a year and a half or more so... new people getting into Twice might not get to know her much. Thank you always for your honesty and for your patience.
I was surprised you liked TT but never listened to their other songs, because I consider Like Ooh Ahh, Cheer Up and TT the "holy trinity" of TWICE songs. These 3 songs make one of the most perfect and greatest trilogy in kpop. To me that's when they had their best songs, JYP really gave them the best possible to assure their major success. The bad part of this is that I was disappointed for every single release after that trilogy, it was never the same quality to me.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with What is Love but I think you'll enjoy the MV, it has a lot of movie references so it's kind of iconic.
I think the best way to get to know the members is seeing them interact with each other, I'd recommend you see their Time to Twice series but I know it might be intimidating because there are a lot of episodes so I'l think of some short videos to recommend next time. Dahyun is certainly one of the most charismatic people in the world so there should be a lot of material there lol

I would suggest "Jeongyeon The guardian of Twice" its like 6 very short clips that give you a beautiful insight in their bond. I specifically suggest this Jeongyeon focused one because of her health, she hasnt been fully back for around a year and a half or more so... new people getting into Twice might not get to know her much.

I was surprised you liked TT but never listened to their other songs, because I consider Like Ooh Ahh, Cheer Up and TT the "holy trinity" of TWICE songs. These 3 songs make one of the most perfect and greatest trilogy in kpop. To me that's when they had their best songs, JYP really gave them the best possible to assure their major success.
The bad part of this is that I was disappointed for every single release after that trilogy, it was never the same quality to me.

I always thought Knock Knock was criminally underrated as a Twice title track and I’m always surprised to find out it’s a hated kpop song cus people think it’s annoying - the second part of the chorus (Jihyo’s part) is amazing
