    Hi Ana, I am a little confused when to use midis vs. modis in speaking in the third person. Does it matter? In Georgia is it the same thing to say he is coming to the house vs he is going to the house?

      It is about who is the speaker. If you are at home and your friend is coming there too, you say "მეგობარი მოდის (სახლში)", if he goes to his home from yours -" მეგობარი მიდის სახლში". Hope it is clear

    The ending -ში is all clear. But: I've also heard -შიაო in a song (e.g. სახლშიაო, ბაღშიაო), what's that? o.O

      @speakgeorgian  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@lawrnc1424 ო- means it is a narative, it is said by someone.
      თბილისი არისო - Someone said it is Tbilisi.
      მე ვარო - someone said "it is me"
      When you add "ო" you avoid saying "someone said" and it becomes obvious.

    can you tell me the difference between this words, please:
    დიახ
    კი
    კარგი
    also I hear sometimes people says something like: ხო or ხობ, something like this, which mean okay or yes as I think ..!

    • @speakgeorgian
      @speakgeorgian  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      დიახ, კი- yes
      კარგი-okay, fine, nice.
      დიახ is more formal, კი is neutral, ხო is informal
