a cat does have flaws having the center hull being hollow so when there’s some strong gusty winds coming that front flat center nose of it will get pushed back.., when there’s gusty winds they’ll be big hard swells hitting the center of the cat’s hull n that’ll give cat’s more difficulty as it is.., granted it does slit through waters nicely if the waters were 2-6’ (depending on lengths of cat)..
with a stabi’s arrow body pontoons have more advantages over the cat.., reasons of how i know?! ive had a chance testing out my buddies world kat to compare it with all my past boats and my current stabi 2500ultracab xl n by far it has exceeded my expectations... 😉😉😉
