I can plainly see Sonne Farms has built up a nice clientele for their bulls. That speaks volumes for Sonne Farms and doesn't happen overnight. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Luxembourg is a very small but beautiful country, I had the pleasure of staying there while working in Europe. Speaking of Dutch we have a family run Greenhouse business ( Dutch Growers ) here in Saskatoon that is celebrating their 70th year in business this week. When the founders arrived in Canada they had a suitcase and 20 dollars. Being Dutch they knew how to grow things so they started a modest plant business that has now blossomed to two locations in Saskatchewan. They are now a third generation success story.
Some of my German family, that live on the border of Luxembourg, drive over a narrow bridge to purchase the inexpensive gas in Luxembourg. The only time I visited Luxembourg.😂
@@jeffreyshier9021 Yeah Luxembourge is a low taxed country but still expensive to live there , but many europeans do a day visit to purchase drink , cigarettes , chocolate n fuel because its duty free ... a beautiful small country on a par with Switzerland in costs ......
I have to tell you this story from my truck driving days: At a DOT scales there was this ambitious over zealous young DOT officer. He insisted that he crawl under the trailer to check the brakes of a trailer full of cows. The older, more experienced DOT officers told him not to do that. But, being young and stupid, he did it anyway. He no sooner got under the trailer and a cow pooped and peed on him. I suspect he never did that again. I had wanted to haul live stock, but from all the horror stories I heard, I changed my mind on doing that and stuck to refers and other trailers.
Boy I am sure glad I missed the bull milking party. Congratulations on a successful year of calving and bull marketing. Here's to many more. For some reason I tend to think the better you do, the more you'll take us along. Nothing happens fast in farming from my perspective other than weed pressure. It's inspiring to watch your successes. Since opportunity doesn't fall on the couch, I'll do my best to emulate the tenacity you gents exhibit. My cattle endeavor will only be trying to feed my family. Doing what you gents do takes a whole other level of ability that I lost a decade ago. Thanks for bringing us along. Cheers.
The awesome thing is they know and acknowledge where all of their blessings come from. Jesus! I watched a few channels ( stopped now) that sold out or shut up I should say, once they got sponsors.
A Great bunch of Bulls. Both of you have done yourselves proud this year. The way the cattle work with so much ease shows how much they trust you two and Jeff also.
I have been watching Sonne Farms for over 4-5 years and have only encountered 2 songs of the day I didn't know/like/own. Pretty good track record Brian.
Congrats on another great bull day. When you’ve got a quality product , word gets around. Honestly, I don’t know who’s happier, Brian or Mrs Brian because finally that barn get a good cleaning. Lol.❤️❤️
I'm a city girl but my hubby grew up in the country. I learned some from him but more from his step dad he was my real father in Law! He was an old farmer! He was an amazing man ! So knowledgeable about farms animals! I miss him now. Brian kind of reminds me of him! He also had a great Send a of humor! Lolol
Nice handling animals there with Mr. Brian, cutting them out and Cole talking to us !!😳😂😂😂. I would say a very rewarding day after all the years of hard work and genetics coming together. Nice looking animals. 14 hours away 😳thats what you call a dedicated customer 👍👍. Lots of great memories of customers over the years I bet ! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Was the fella with the new trailer the same rancher who wanted his bulls branded?---Exciting to see how far away the buyers are coming from. I'd love to hear more about that (put some pins in a map for us)!
Congrats on a successful sale day! If I were a rancher, which I'm not, I'd definitely buy Sonne bulls. I know that means a lot, coming from a not-farmer, city-guy like myself. Y'all are great!
Those are some NICE bulls! We used an angus bull to breed our dairy cows years ago. Their calves were smaller and easier for the first time heifers to deliver. The calves were raised for veal or beef. That sure was a while ago! (nearly 60 years ago! LOL)
Great video! I look forward to the annual bull day video. What an amazing business you have developed Brian. Kudos to you for your persistance in producing quality breeding stock that has had and continues to have an impact on the Angus breed, the improvement of the meat industry and the end product for millions of people who love and eat meat! Nothing beats a big juicy Angus t-bone!😊
Brian and Cole, Thank you for a great channel and for being an American Farmer and Rancher. Would it be possible to name the new bull calf after 101st Airborne Division? “Screaming Eagle”
I always thought a good bull had the prancing trot. Like “here I am, where’s the girls”. Lots of your bulls had real swagger. Congrats on a great sale day.
What a great video, so enjoyed and thanks to who did all the cropping and video work to produce this video as I used to create and make videos, but I was not good enough. So I stopped doing it. So enjoy all what you show us and thanks to every one involved.
Congratulations on selling so many bulls this year, the culmination of so much work. I always look forward to bull day. I learned something new today; I actually thought you still heated the branding irons in an open fire. That was embarrassing. And...that is why we all need to watch all of your downloads, because we need to learn about where our food comes from, and how it is grown. How old are the bulls you sold today? Thank you, Brian and Cole.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Congratulations to Brian and Cole for a highly successful bull sale. People like those Sonne bulls. My compliments for a highly successful bull program Brian and Cole. Wonderful to see people come from all over to get some of your bulls. And of course have a very nice meal and one of those Dutch treats. Just great Sonne’s!!!!!!!! You have things organized very very well and things go pretty smooth. You go a great job with your bull sale days!!!!! Nice work. Another calf number 101. Great. Song of the day is a great one. Love that song and music. Thanks Brian. About all I guess. Again, congratulations on your successful bull sale days. You all take care and be safe v Thanks for everything. The Iowa Farm Boy.
bulls go for around 5000 and up but Brian and Cole have lots of expenses during the year especially coming up with seeding. Start buying seed corn and diesel fuel and 800,000 won't seem like a lot.
Well done Brian and Cole xx Another great bull day, bet Brians happy its over and he can sleep well xx Did you have any spare bulls for the people that reserved the 2 that did not pass the test?

Great video!... Fun fact, I got to use the optimizer gel I got from you guys. Made a video about, although my one calf probably isn't as exciting as your 100 calves that were born this season. You guys are great! Thanks!!
I love the video's you make. And i almost missed the stroopwafels in this video. But they came along happily. Greetings from Groningen, the Netherlands.
Congratulations on your bull sale.!!! Looked like a nice pen of bulls through out. You may want to consider selling reg. heifers next year too. Up here in ND today at a bull sale, Angus bulls averaged $5,969 and reg. heifers brought $5,475. If the cattle market stays strong, next year heifers may bring more than bulls.!!
There is a great bunch of bulls there and rightfully so. You two don’t seem to be to excited. It’s a great day and I’m excited for you. Thanks for sharing the video.

I like how you guys show that there doesn’t have to be a lot of fussing when you work cattle. The right equipment has to help, too.
